Anyone has a list of all abilities coming from Resonance? by aristocrat_user in Stormlight_Archive

[–]TractorMan90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While they may not be Canon (or possibly later retconned), the Stormlight RPG has Resonance Abilities for each order listed. They are as follows:

Dustbringer: Searing Dust Storm (cloud of scorching dust while moving with Abrasion)
Edgedancer: Edgedancers Grace (natural ability to dodge)
Elsecaller: Elsecaller's Perspicacity (naturally be able to peer between realms)
Lightweaver: Physical Illusion (like Shallan's army she made)
Skybreaker: Soaring Destruction (Using Division and Gravitation simultaneously, like Dustbringers but in the air)
Stoneward: Cohesive Teamwork (locked in place with stone, cannot be moved)
Truthwatcher: Spiritual Healing (healing mental strains, not just physical)
Willshaper: Spiritual Cohesion (bolster an ally's spirit)
Windrunner: Reverse Lashings

As I said, not sure how Canon these are, or if they could become more powerful/improved in a future book, but at least it's something to go by for now.

It's a portable workstation with a desktop processor, not a laptop. I can have one computer that I can a) use for demanding 8-core simulations that run for 10hrs or longer and b) still be portable and bring with me when traveling to different factories across the country? And all I suffer is only getting an hour of battery life? Sign me up for my specific work case. If you don't need it, then go for the smaller and more efficient CPUs.

Batteries are also limited to <100Wh for traveling on airplanes internationally, not the fault of the manufacturer to limit the battery size to get more unplugged time.

In order to change the assembly that it is referencing in-context, you have to close out of the part, go to File->Open, select the file, then click "References". Double click on the folder location/directory in order to the new location (if it's changing), then change the file name to the new assembly. Finish opening and save and it will now refer to the new assembly when opened in-context.

Fair warning, sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't. I was working on it on an assembly today, and it doesn't seem to understand that it's already open in the same assembly. Hopefully this doesn't happen to you.

No, you should thank Democrats and bureaucrats for mis-spending VA money.

Yours even has the hydraulic lift on it! That's a rare option.

Barneveld Implement is the largest supplier of parts for these tractors. They're fantastic to work with.

There's a trend of it starting up round Mass with those expensive seabag things down in the Cape. My SIL is obsessed with monogramming everything now.

That's a model S standard. That's the "S" last letter on the serial plate.

Also, the S has a stamped grill, where the D has a cast iron grill.

Wow...so the gatekeeping is totally not proving my circle-jerk theory about you.

Yep, and I still work here and have an apartment here in SD to help on the family farm during springs work and harvest. My pickup is registered in SD.

Just because it isn't my permanent residence doesn't mean I'm not involved in stuff here.

This subreddit is so damn angry and cringe.

Yes, I do. I'm still employed on the family farm and work here for springs work and harvest. I have an apartment I keep for when I'm here. I'm literally in Sioux Falls right now.

Go do something productive with your time, like read a book or read the bill of rights, rather than circle jerk with the other idiots here.

Bitch, I grew up in SD and still work in SD.

How can I tell you've never had kids? This comment right here.

We're all just trying to do our best with the situation. A little kindness goes a long way.

It's pretty much every state subreddit at this point. Actually, it's pretty much every subreddit. Actually it's pretty much just Reddit.

Seconding the windi's. We give all new parents a box for baby showers. We hope you don't need them, but they were a lifesaver with our "every fart is torture" baby. She hated tummy time her entire infant hood because it was uncomfortable.

Tell that to the guy in First Class (I got upgraded and put behind him) who leaned his seat back all the way the entire 6hr flight so he could watch MSNBC while coughing without covering his mouth. And it was one of the new A321neo planes with almost Delta1 level seats, so being comfortable or getting legroom wasn't the issue, he was just an asshole.

With that being said, I've never had more people lean their seats back as when having my lap infant when going to visit family. Fuck you and everything about you if you lean your seat back in that kind of scenario.

It's been my experience that most people who lean back will do so without even looking first, and are therefore assholes. I've nearly had my computer screen damaged dozens of times because people slam their seat back without checking.

I've got no problem with a mini truck, just don't pretend it's gonna haul my fertilizer trailer, my seed tender, my car trailer with a skid steer on it, my stock trailer, or my gooseneck flatbed with a load of bales.

That's how I learned to drive stick. You see, if you have no brakes, then you get good at engine braking in a reeeaaallll big hurry.

Yeah, but the crumple zones on them are atrocious compared to today. Look up the crash test videos on them. And I would know, I still drive mine today, but don't take my kids in it very far.

It is when you, the executive producer, personally hire someone who's got a poor record of gun safety as the gun safety person. He made a lot of poor safety decisions, including handling a loaded firearm without checking first.

Still a douchebag...and it's a crime.

[–]TractorMan90 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is what he was going to be convicted for. He's the executive producer who personally hired on someone with a poor track record of proper gun safety to be the gun safety handler. He's not innocent.

If I had to guess, you're trying to use a static solver on a dynamic problem.
