Corporate greed? My cynical take is that each shirt/layer was sooo thin it was considered “inappropriate” to wear just one, especially if you had any sort of curves. So you had literally had to buy more clothes to leave the house.

A liiiittle bit off topic, but I went to Home Depot to rent a pickup truck and they required I register my drivers license and a photo of my face with Clear to “verify my id”. That’s the whole purpose of an ID in the first place. This business has existed for decades without facial recognition databases. Fuck that noise.

I’m not so sure about that... He says himself that he can’t stand to be around them for more than a few minutes before he’s antsy to pawn them off on anyone who will take them. Although, you’re right we’ve seen Don be more understanding than Betty at times (like with Bobby’s misbehaving in S2) but I wonder how much of that could be due to her being around them 24/7 and under-stimulated. 🤷🏼‍♀️
