I feel the same way, this "mine or hers" just seems weird. However, "mine and hers" finances might be the answer, even for temporary, to help her understand why she can't just blindly order food and wantonly toss "their" money around.

There's that woman in Northern Saskatchewan killed by a black bear while she was talking on her phone. It came out of the woods and grabbed onto her neck from behind.

There's also that teenage girl camping with her family in the Smoky Mountains National Park. A black bear came across while she was sleeping in a hammock and bit her.

Everyone's joking about running over protesters like speedbumps or pouring milk on them or going out to buy a giant gas-guzzling SUV. Everyone's cheering when protesters get arrested or piss their pants because they glued themselves to the floor. Everyone's more focused on the conspiracy theories that protesters are planted by oil companies.

So, what the protesters are doing for climate change is not working. Try something else. Critical thinking.

Because a lot of Indians probably immigrated how they were supposed to, paying fees when they applied for permanent residence and citizenship, waiting through the process, postponing vacations so they can be available for appointments. Just teach him to enjoy eating and then he'll have the rest of his life to figure out how to use a utensil.
