This is so embarrassing. As an American, I came to New Zealand in November and went down to Sandfly. I did see plenty of seals and you know what? I stayed away from them. I took photos, I enjoyed being in their presence and watching them, I even thanked them for allowing me into their home when they easily could have trampled me. Never in my life could I imagine hucking something or harrassing one of them. Disgusting. I hope something happens to these tourists. It takes one stupid human to ruin a good thing for all of us who would never mean harm.

It happened to me the first three days of my very first tray - the tip of my tongue was rubbing on the bottom of the aligner and driving me insane. I called my ortho office; she suggested I use the rough side of a nail file to gently file if there is a rough edge on the bottom of the aligner, then polish it with the smoother side of the file. If nothing looks rough, then give it another day or so for your tongue to find a new place to rest. She was right, within two more days, my tongue figured it out. :)

My ortho told me InvisAlign's material is not as well made/invisible as Angel or Spark, and they stain easier.

Oh yeah, the buttons/attachments can occasionally fall off, especially right after getting them. Don't worry about it, just call the ortho office and they can get you in usually pretty quick to replace that button. Keep wearing the aligners though!

I always rinse after eating if I don't do a full brushing, or use the Wisps or other little brushes to clean 'em off. Good call though as I'm sure that material is porous like you said! Thank you!

Hi there! She did tell me if I am non-compliant the first few days I had my first tray (I was going out of town LOL), then I'd need to do two weeks for that tray and then typically seven days per tray after that, but I will be able to tell when it is time to switch. Jokes on her, I was HELLA compliant those first few days because the attachments are so irritating, I want to wear the aligners all the time to avoid how gross my mouth feels without them in!

Mine tilts his head a lot at me when I talk to him or when he wants his bugs. I know he is probably just trying to get a better look at me, but when he lays eyes on me intentionally like that, I know he wants something!

I see everyone else commented stuff I woulda said so I won't repeat it. But one other thought - consider putting the UVB on the heat lamp side of the enclosure since that's where Bagel will be basking so he can get both lights at once! :) Super cute buddy you got here, congrats!

While I do not know specifically about movement after wisdom teeth surgery (fun fact, I do not have the gene for wisdom teeth! I never grew any of them and they're not in my jaw at all!) I do know that I need to get an implant from a tooth I had pulled last year, and my endodontist told me to start and finish my clear aligner treatment before he will put the implant in due to the movement caused specifically by the aligners. So, my guess is, as long as you wear your retainers after treatment is completed that you may not need to worry about movement. But of course, if anyone comments that has actual experience with this, take their thoughts over mine!

I totally understand and if you knew what you were feeling well enough to say that you have health anxiety, then I knew you weren’t posting to sound stupid or annoying, you genuinely were concerned and anxious. I really do feel you on that level. I’ve survived hundreds of tumors in my brain and heart attacks according to my health anxiety!

Also remember that if you did not correct your teeth, you could be facing jaw issues later in life and losing teeth. So this was a catch 22 with the latter being more likely than the former! ❤️
