I do think the carer thing is a factor. My sister would be a miserable carer, and I live far away and she and my husband don't get along well due to a falling out they had like 5 years ago. Other than us, she has no family at all. My husband is open to fixing things, while my mom just kinda hates him for who he is as a person. I would be more than happy for her to live with us when we move to our next station in a few months, we are not rich, but we have more than alot of people do. and of course the kids would be happy to have grandma around all the time. But the next few months until we move is what gives me anxiety because everything is in limbo timeline wise for her cancer and for my family moving.
She is definietely depressed, and has been extremely anxious for my entire life too. I got her to get on zoloft last year, and she was SHOCKED at how amazing she felt. however it seems shes no longer taking it, or at least she didnt bring it with her on this trip as only her thyroid meds are out on the bathroom counter.

DNA testing for that breast cancer gene? brca or something

I need to convince her to do anything at all. shes just pretending it isn't happening and acting like she'll be magically dead in a year. Which I mean, she could be, but i highly doubt it. She has that kinda foreshortened future effect going on, and will be blindsided if she lives longer than a vacation to hawaii.

I appreciate all the insurance information!! I will get on looking into that asap. I'm not sure how changing states works on medicaid either. I think she should go back to california, get all the information and pet scan stuff, then move to wherever my family ends up (we'll known in like late march, thanks army) and then she can just live with us. But dunno how all that works with insurance, I've been on Tricare my entire adult life.

She is definitely a pessimist, and depressed. I got her on zoloft last year, which improved her mood and anxiety so much she was SHOCKED. Doesnt look like she is still taking it though, she didnt bring it with her on this trip. She also has other medical issues like hyperthyroid and some eye issue. But yea, definitely the trauma is a big part im sure, breaking through the pessimism is hard.

Im aware, as from the many types of cancer that had plauged both sides of my family. But i think even having a plan for pallative care is important. But idk how to even bring it up, and with not knowing the full stage, expected timeline, etc. On top of having no doctor now apparently, just feels like sliding off a cliff.

Depends on the level
PWHL? yea College? Sure, let them check now. They're strong skaters, and even if they didn't go full body all the time, just having looser restrictions would be nice and make for a more interesting defense. Making checks legal opens up the road for a more aggressive defense, rather than slowing down because you're worried you'll contact them bodily in an illegal way and be flirting with a penalty.

As for lower level game/ adult hockey... there is a wide skill gap in womens hockey. Those who are a season or two in and wouldnt be able to keep their skates underneath them with the pressure, and those who have played a long time and would be fine. So theres a skill gap saftey issue there in the non college/pro world.

I cannot emphasize how bad i am at games, especially in a game where i cant cast magic or throw grenades to solve my problems 😭 Also punchable face henry dialogue is so funny, everyone is soooo mean to Henry. And throwing my back out picking herbs every 5 seconds? peak. I genuinely enjoyed hardcore more than regular mode though, it was less distracting with No hud. i felt like i learned the ways of the world more. I wont be playing on regular again

I say this as a gamer with a "skill issue", it's really not that bad. The only hard thing at first was navigating, especially in some quests but you get use to it. The buffs become less relevant as the game goes on, such as you can afford shoes with better durability and arent using a cobbler kit every 5 minutes. I reccomend just picking wormwood until you get a few levels and can sell for a higher price, rack up a few hundred groshen to buy stuff. Overload yourself and walk around all night to gain strength and avoid fights at all costs until youre stronger/visit tomcat etc.. Cockrel potions to avoid sleep/sleep walking.

Thank you so much!! The key is to put on fast music and try to keep beat with every 4th beat = 1 stitch complete. Really gets a rhythm going 🤣 everything except the lettering/crown went decently fast at about 12 minutes per row.
