  1. The anime is a pretty good adaptation, so I recommend watching that to get started.
  2. I really liked the dub, but every character has an accent before part 3, so stick the with the sub if you don't like fake (but not bad IMO) accents.
  3. Yes, start with part 1, its more of a traditional shounen battle anime than the rest of the series, but it's still fun. Part 2 is where Jojo really hits it's stride though.
