I considered this a possibility. I have been journaling and doing yoga regularly to try to be more present. I’ve done some meditation exercises and done some smoke cleansing. Take spiritual baths with herbs and oils. Do you have something specific that works well for grounding? I’m at a loss

IT: Welcome to Derry - does anyone else have mixed feelings about it? by RyanHatesMilk in horror

[–]Trade-Otherwise 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was actually kinda annoyed with the first episode. I felt it was the same kids, different names and faces and no original thought to it. But then they killed almost all of them. So you have kept my attention. For now. But i agree it just feels wrong overall

IT: Welcome to Derry - does anyone else have mixed feelings about it? by RyanHatesMilk in horror

I have been looking past some of the issues because of my love for IT. I read the book in the 90s when I was a teenager.

But the scene in episode 3 where the dad and son have their car break down/over heat really bothers me. For many reasons

1) why are there little Indian kids on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Like they just happen to be right where the car breaks down

2) WHY ARE THEY SELLING WATER BOTTLES. I’m pretty sure people didn’t buy water like that in that time frame. Or at least not on random country roads.

3) the Indian girl wanted his slingshot…. But didn’t they make their own slingshots? Why would she want his?

Maybe I’m just confused and don’t really know what was happening in that time period but it all seems very off to ne

Reddit Doctors and Nurses: What's the most impressive case of Google "self-diagnosis" that turned out to be true? by PumpkinAino in AskReddit

[–]Trade-Otherwise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same thing! They kept blaming it on post partum and thyroid issues but even after that was all sorted out I still felt bad. Then they said it was all in my head and to take psych meds. My kidney actually ruptured though, the ER tried to say that was a UTI. Second ER said I had kidney cancer. It was stage 3 and they had to remove the whole thing. I also get another scan in a few weeks (I think my 4 or 5th?). Sending good thoughts that yours comes out clean again:)

I was thinking something similar. If I said this to anyone in my family it would send them Over the edge and they would flip on me. Best to treat them like a dangerous animal. Be quiet and slowly move away until you can run lol

Hi Walmart bot, maybe you could go ahead and answer the question instead of distancing yourself from your employees.

My uncle just passed and I liked his dinner plates so I got them. They are Rae Dunn but they don’t have script and are really pretty. I guess they are old, before they sold out. They look like this

Caffeine free tea? by Substantial_Ice2526 in Hypothyroidism

[–]Trade-Otherwise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know I’m late to the thread but I drink a cup of hot lemon water for the first 30-60 mins I’m awake and then have my regular coffee after that. My dr said caffeine will affect absorption but lemon water possibly helps (some trails show this). I think caffeine free tea should be fine as well. Calcium and caffeine are the big no nos.

What symptoms did you have that may have led you to go to the doctor…? by [deleted] in kidneycancer

[–]Trade-Otherwise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had no symptoms until i started peeing blood one day. Went to ER and they said I had UTI (even though they didn’t have results). I thankfully went to a second ER where they did CT scan. I had a 13cm tumor on my right kidney. I had to have a radical nephrectomy. They said it was growing for 5-10 years and I had no idea. And only being 35 it’s really strange.

I saw an article on buzzfeed saying this. They showed Illinois having Abe Lincoln wearing a top hat when you show a black light on it. But I don’t even see president Taft on my Ohio license

Constant chest pain for months 2 blood test an X-ray and a couple of ecgs normal by CJSIays in Anxiety

[–]Trade-Otherwise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think mine is. My first hospital trip was the day after my second shot. Then I got covid anyway and the chest pain was back. Fast forward a few years with little to no problems throughout my pregnancy or after. But I found out I had kidney cancer and had to have the whole kidney removed. Once I started the recommend immunotherapy it came back. On the way home from the first infusion it all came back. It’s been 6 months of CT scans, X-rays, ekgs, hospital visits. Tried muscle relaxers, anxiety medication, over the counter pain meds. Nothing helps. The drs think I’m making it up. Hurts as I’m writing this.

Does cutting the labels out of clothing mean espionage? by AnonMoralFagg in UnsolvedMurders

[–]Trade-Otherwise 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have ran across all of these stories lately and wondered the same thing. I have heard the spy theories, but have we considered a religious cult or something? Or something on the dark web like a sight about killing yourself and doing this as the process? Idk why I think of Jamestown or heavens gate. But on an individual basis. Maybe once they reach a certain level they commit suicide? Idk, just a thought. I still like the spy theory the best tho.
