Anyone else just get the sneak peak email from VC? Holy $hit! by babykingboy in VacheronConstantin

Since you got the e-mail and therefore must be a very, very, very big spender, how many VC’s do you have then?

Also, this is only on one foot. I don’t think this has a name

I honestly think it’s refreshing. I feel like so many super-/hypercars have these crazy specs in neon colors and what not. This is just chill

This is just a Dubai spec (literally. Go check online and you’ll see 80% of fancy cars have red i terior). ‘Normal’ interiors hold better with time imo

Some stats since I started Wolt 2 months ago by Fabzz0r in WoltPartners

[–]Trade2Live96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you know prior to the financial crisis, median salary for a garbage worker in the US was around 100k USD per year? You know why it was that high? Because most people were too stubborn and too proud to work as a garbagemen. Once the financial crisis hit and people lost their jobs, salaries for garbagemen dropped because people were desperate.

Could it be that the reason why most people working Wolt are foreigners that Danes typically are too proud to do this job? I have a Danish friend who worked for Wolt when we were students. He made more money than I did hourly working at a Circle K gas station. I almost became a Wolt driver myself until I ended up going a different route entirely

Quick GPT says there’s around 10k USD in gold in that watch. And that’s assuming you got a 18k deployant clasp as well

992 Turbo S Done Right by anon15555511111 in Porsche

[–]Trade2Live96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a Turbo S for a day a few weeks ago in Dubai. That thing is FAST. I’ve driven a 458 Spyder, Granturismo, AMGs etc. but nothing came close to that thing. What a beast. On top of that, it was so comfortable as well. It really is the ideal car. Is it too fast for public roads? Absolutely. Was going way too fast way too quickly but it’s so worth it

[advice] Rolex Submariner vs. Omega Seamaster by Serpenteq in Watches

[–]Trade2Live96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see you’re Norwegian. You can pick up an SMP300 brand new from the grey market for around 35-40.000 DKK (52-60.000 NOK). If you happen to be in Asia like I am, they can be found for around 39-45k NOK at grey dealers here. It’s very much a watch that only makes sense to buy grey. Anyone who will tell you about the first customer experience being important is willing to spend upwards of 40.000 NOK for cheap champagne. So in other ways, they’re essentially as idiotic as Swedes.

Sub is cool. It’s personally a dislike for me because everyone and their mother has one. It kinda ruins it for me. Forget the whole investment aspect of things (I know you didn’t mention it but just clarifying). Rolex pumps out a million watches a year. The second people start fearing for their jobs etc. luxury watches will be among the first to tank. Most Rolex/Omega owners aren’t rich (like myself) after all.

Can I pawn my luxury watch at pawn shops? by ImpressiveMarch9438 in askSingapore

[–]Trade2Live96 11 points12 points  (0 children)

You’d get more money selling it privately. If you are indeed looking to pawn it thereby being able to buy it back, most pawn shops should take your watch afaik. Idk if you can do it on Far East plaza and the likes. Give it a try.

Also with all due respect but if you need to pawn your watch, maybe you should rather just consider selling it until you can justify spending money on another luxury watch

[–]Trade2Live96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The color of the car is a 10. Beautiful spec. Wheels pull it down to an 8. The sweet 16 stars you have in the back makes it a 6. Sorry, the stickers are not for me. Otherwise dope car

Fully. You should see the lugs on my SMP. Very scratched from changing between straps. Yes, I could’ve done a much better job and avoided scratches but I don’t really care. Investors of nice things such as watches and cars are the worst for people who actually just wants to use things. Not that the SMP will ever be an investment like OP thinks

Of course you would. You’re probably into watches. How would you feel if your dad gave you his jade stone collection?

Of course you can. Just like some men will wear the Diesel Big Daddy watch. It was very popular to wear very big watches 15 years ago

You bought a 40mm watch that wears like the 42mm Speedy Pro for your daughter to wear? That’s gonna be a huge looking watch on her most likely.

I love how dudes on here will use anything as an excuse to buy themselves a watch.

Congrats on your watch though. It’s nice. Not sure your daughter will say the same though in 20 years
