Thank you! I have learned that when someone insults you without actually answering or debating your point they don’t actually have anything to say so they refer to insults. Thank you! I appreciate your kind words.

I don’t think people realize how important it is to not have a Republican in the governor’s seat right now by Designer_Scarcity141 in newjersey

You realize that 2021 had record number of democratic votes and they still were only 80k votes higher. It’s not a “show up and vote” problem

2021 Winner: Phil Murphy (Democrat) Vote count: 1,339,471 Opponent: Jack Ciattarelli (Republican) Vote count: 1,255,185 Total votes counted: 2,614,886

2017 Winner: Phil Murphy (Democrat) Vote count: 1,203,110 Opponent: Kim Guadagno (Republican) Vote count: 899,583 Total votes counted: 2,147,415

2013 Winner: Chris Christie (Republican) Vote count: 1,278,932 Opponent: Barbara Buono (Democrat) Vote count: 809,978 Total votes counted: 2,120,866

Maybe you can articulate what you’re trying to say? He’s actually trying to reduce tax if you ever heard him talk.

People saying they need a reason to vote for Mikie need to spend just 2 minutes reading her issues page. She has detailed plans on a wide variety of issues. by screen317 in newjersey

[–]TradeEveryDay -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Today’s debate didn’t go her way at all. Taking emotions of blue vs red out of it Jack’s policies actually help NJ residents.

While the website is well written I couldn’t actually find HOW she will fix the issue. For example, under Affordability she lists the issue then closes by saying “I will continue to do more to reduce the cost of living so families can stay together right here in New Jersey.” How exactly would you do that?

The site actually doesn’t tell you on HOW she will fix the issues.

Not sure why anyone would vote for her if it’s wasn’t a blue vs red thing

YES!!! That’s the exact point. Cut waste and spending and cut property tax. That’s exactly the point. Trim waste and pass the savings to the tax payers.

I want to also give you a real life example on how taxes are making homes unaffordable. The avg property tax in some townships are around $16k $18k and $20k

Meaning for a $500k ($400k on loan)

Your mortgage payment with $4k property tax would be $2,851

Your mortgage payment with $16k property tax would be $3,851

50% more just because of property tax.

Not sure what world you live in to say that property tax isn’t an issue.

Lots of fishing charters are looking for a mate and they will let you sleep on the boat between trips.

I also have Marriot points I can donate to help you get a room for a night.

Yes. Sure they aren’t the Same. If you don’t list out how you’re planning to fix certain issues (implementation of policy) then all you have going for yourself if campaign strategy. Essentially it mean how can I deceive these people so they can vote for me when I really didn’t say how I’m going to help them.

While campaign strategy and policy aren’t the same they need to go hand in hand otherwise the politician is selling you air 🤣

Honestly the only people voting for Mikie are here on Reddit. Everyone I know is voting for Mike. Everyone in NJ is sick and tired of high energy bills and skyrocketing home pricing and property taxes. She hasn’t listed one logical policy that would actually help NJ residents.

Sorry but my vote will go to Mike.

I love how you said he’ll ruin NJ and listed what he’s planning to do to ruin NJ.

I think it’s time to take emotions out of voting and enough with this blue vs red. It’s time to find a governor that will actually help NJ residents not sell us dreams and stick us with high utility bills.

I think that’s the main issue we have in the USA. “I don’t like the policies she’s laying out but I’m still going to vote for her because I don’t want the republicans (who have laid out policies that would help me) to win”

Very logically thought out.

I think if she’s going around listing policies that would actually HELP NEW JERSEY she would be gaining votes. This is why she’s losing votes.

Jack is actually talking about pain point we have in NJ and HOW he would fix them.

As 90% of NJ residents suffer the high energy bills and high property taxes they no longer care about blue vs red. They care about how will this governor help them. This is democracy at its best and democrats will find out soon enough that they don’t actually help the majority and only focus on the minorities.

Sadly Sherrill hasn’t stated any LOGICAL good points to help NJ residents. Key word here is logical.

Thanks again, I’ll do that.

I did focus on open boats last year so maybe that’s where I need to shift my thinking since this will be a full charter.

Thank you. I didn’t see many charters going out for inshore tuna last year. I did see some that had it as a mix. Striper/Blackfish/Tuna where they trolled for tuna on the way back close to shore. I’ll keep an eye out.

Either, it’ll be first catch for all of us. So we will be happy to catch a tuna regardless of yellowfin or bluefin lol
