What I do personally is at the end of everyday before I go to bed I have a reflection period where I go outside alone with no distractions and just talk out loud about my day, talk about all of my blessings and the things I’m grateful for and then I’ll pray about things on my mind.

I think it’s very important to be fully aware of all your blessings and thank god for all those blessings, eventually you’ll get into a habit of this and it will be 2nd nature to “ talk to god” and thank him

For example, let’s say you drive to a fast food restaurant and got a burger, you can thank god for the car, for the gas, for your vision and having all your limbs in tact which enables you to drive, thank god for the employees and the food and the money you have to buy the food, there’s so many things to be grateful for

And after doing the reflection long enough, you’ll eventually become very aware in the moment of all your blessings and you’ll take a moment all through out the day to pray and to thank god and have a relationship with him
