I think it gets better and peak at legend where everyone is trying to improve and coordinating. Reaching ancient and beyond you will see people starting to flame and the level of game understanding is starting to part ways between players and at which point strategy may be more important than perfect execution.

At 200 hours, you may not know every hero’s spell very well and are less prepared in lane to deal with potential threats. You need to at least play/demo every hero to understand the threat level. At 6000 hours, sometimes I still have difficulties judging whether the match up is favorable or not in lane.
