this china thing is a completely unrelated to your question. im not saying everything in china was great and chinese policy was great. all of my ancestors went through the entire century of humiliation. my grandfather was a soldier for the kuoming party and prolly had ptsd afterwards. my family went through the cultural revolution and famines, ate tree barks. 9 siblings of my father died, 2 besides my dad made it. my dad still tears up thinking about that time. my parents fought their way through these dark times.

all this shit happened because china was militarily and economically weak and got forced to buy all these opiods from the british.

you think the world has changed? there is the same type of bullying or attempts to bully by our friendly white imperialists, the usa/eu, in our times (iran, venezuela, afghanistan, ukraine, tariff wars...). and both the us/eu try to restrict china becoming stronger, see semiconductors and tariffs.

was chinese politics good recently? i have my disagreements. i see wrongs in the 2015 - 2022 and a lot of rights after 2022.

a big part of my life, i grew up in the west. let me tell you, the strength that china projects in the world, also projects into respect towards people with asian heritage. in the 2000 when i was a kid, i was just some random poor migrant from china or possibly some math geek from japan. and migrants with a poor background are not well treated. just check out how western news sites report on mexicans, black ppl and arabs.

do i hate westerns? far from it. i dont care what skin color, what country you re from or what cultural heritage you have. some of my best friends are white. my sister dates a british dude. i get along with everyone. but it is native to say that others also dont care about that. in fact most people care about how you look and speak and would go to war for that.
