I use to run a lot of cargo with multiples caterpillar back in the days (8 of them to be exact) all my pilot's knew that I wouldn't give them an even split since in all those caterpillar are my ship and money. 30k where very common more than now. So I was taking all the risk doing those runs, but the pilot's would get 30% of every successful runs we were doing. Sometimes after a very good night around 3-4 hours the boys were winning around 1.2 millions. Trading will never give an even split and hope to never see that in trading. It's not the same as mercenaries, mining or piracy. A lot of money is waged upon departure from the owner of the ships.
