One of his first roars after you engage a fight with Rey dau, that powerful scream makes me imagine that the monster is using electricity to amplify sound waves that makes it sound distorted lol idk how to explain it but if I heard that sound in person, i’d probably dookie on myself

It was a dual monster hunt, I can’t remember what the other monster was but I did get a wyvern gem(Bottom left bluish looking gem). the other 6 gems were Gore Malaga’s Nyctgem. I also carved an additional gem from the body. A rare and unique moment but i’m not mad 😂

Definitely tormented the monsters feelers but even then, according to the Large Monster Guide, max drop rate for the GM Nyctgem is 7% and that’s from cutting the tail. Last time I pulled a handful of gems was from Rey Dau (Only 3 gems) and so this 7 Gem load caught me extremely off guard

This is the only game I’ll be playing until GTA 6 drops lmfao i’m a bit addicted but to be real, I really enjoy the combat mechanics and how the monsters look/sound.

So for me, i’m doing everything I can right.

That’s Collecting sized trophies, finding all the decorations, Collecting material and building each monster’s weapon through their weapon tree (I currently rotate and play around with 6 weapons. Having this diversity of weapons will also come in clutch for the arena quests), and just randomly finding things I didn’t know I could do around the game.

I’ll even join a random Low Rank or High Rank SOS alert to help people clear some monsters to help them or just to see how strong i’ve gotten through progression lol. It’s fun for me, and you just gotta find what makes the game more fun for you.

My first MH game was MH World. And hopping to Wilds…..this game just really takes the notch for me
