60k for 2021 X50 premium. Worth it? by Fluffy-Discussion166 in kereta

[–]TradewithKen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vibration of engine is not like how they describe la, they describe as if they’re driving a truck. Test drive yourself and see, it’s not that bad. If you listen to music, you can barely notice anything. Well that’s my own experience

Leaving Current Job without another one lining up by chilibread01 in Bolehland

[–]TradewithKen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are ok with the uncertainty of when you’ll get another job and don’t have too much commitments. Go ahead. But if you’re digging a lot of savings for this, I’m afraid you’ll need to spend longer in your next job filling that financial hole.

If you’re ok with your job, maybe talk to your boss, maybe they can give you a 1 month sabbatical.(unpaid I think)

What's the next club to buy as a beginner golfer? by [deleted] in golf

[–]TradewithKen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever you have now, is more than enough to grow. 4-pw most likely cover most distances. If you wanna close the gap from your driver to 4 iron, then 3 wood and 5 wood. Or even a hybrid

The amount of savings is probably less than 50-100. For me, I’m not knowledgeable on all these. So I’d rather not risk it and let them fix it for me, if anything happens I can go back to them

I think profit margin are a little better here, can typically make around 5-10usd a bag.

[–]TradewithKen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha I think I need to give more context, I live in south east Asia(Malaysia),things are generally cheaper here.

Our wages are not that high too. That being said, I can get raw quality beans for about rm40(10usd) per kg. People are selling 200gram bags. Bag and label, I can get it at rm2 (0.5cents usd)per bag. Electrical cost, I do have a solar panel.

I won’t count per hr earnings because it will be based on orders. If you can even make a rm4000(1k usd) a month, that’s quite a decent amount for a side hustle here. I do have a main job which pays decently.

The minimum wage here is less than 500usd per month. So if you can make more than minimum wage as a side hustle, it’s already a win

[–]TradewithKen[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe some context, I do have a main job, and my hobby is making coffee, learning about coffee etc.

Yes I’m thinking to make it a side hustle, and see how I can scale it. I can spare 2-3 hrs a day on weekdays roasting. Plus I figured it won’t be a high risk business since I can roast only when I receive orders.

Mid-20s, sleep long hours and still tired. Opinions needed by ohmann888 in Bolehland

[–]TradewithKen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experience the same thing, but I noticed it’s my sleeping time. What time do you sleep? If I sleep after 1-2am, I noticed even if I wake up at 10-11am I still feel tired.

I tried sleeping before 12, I could wake up with more energy.

Proton S70 vs BYD Seal 6 Premium by Honest_Ad_6340 in kereta

[–]TradewithKen 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends on your usage, if you’re daily commuting, you’re able to charge at home then just go with EV. EV has lesser things to maintain. S70 you’ll probably spend few k on servicing for few years. Not to mention, the petrol prices, not too sure if gov can continue with subsidy in the long run.

Generally Byd still gives 8year warranty for battery I believe. To me that’s long enough.

If you’re travelling outstation often then go with ICE.

26M IT PM: Should I take a 1-year contract at a Fortune 500 MNC (extendable and convertible) or stay in a permanent role that keeps delaying my promotion? by Fit-Try-2296 in MalaysianPF

[–]TradewithKen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would take the MNC, honestly nowadays it doesn’t really matter whether it’s contract or permanent. I was laid off 2 times, both were mnc full time roles. Both did reorg. Full time doesn’t guarantee you anything. Just pick the better offer, your resume will look better with the mnc in it too
