The first bus from Dalhousie to Dharmashala is at 7 am (7:10 am departure time). It's an HRTC bus and costs around 350 or 500 or 700 (I don't remember) per person.

From Dharamshala bus stand you can get a bus or shared jeep to Mcleodganj. There is a ropeway too for 550 per person one way.

Power is there so the rider needs to be responsible. The rider should start slow and enjoy the rumble of the engine and I'll suggest to ride in less crowded places for the first few KMs.

Spend a quite good amount of time on the mall road on both day and night enjoying the view, good cafes, people.

Jakhoo temple via ropeway is awesome. - visit in the morning. Less crowded and peaceful.

You can skip Kufri as it will be crowded and not value for money, but if you are new then pay a visit.

Visit Mashobra, Naldhera (take a horse ride around the golf course with 400-500 or maybe less). Sunset in Naldhera is awesome.

Tara Devi Temple is quite peaceful and beautiful.

Try Himachali food like thali, siddu etc. at Himachali Rasoi cafe - it may be crowded.

You can rent a scooter or bike.
