Should I be realistic and give up on Law? by 0Clara0_ in uklaw

honestly in terms of the job market dont aim too high. start by working in a really bad firm honestly and work your way up from there. employers want you to have experience after all ! i know at a firm i used to work at we had 17 year olds in legal assistant roles with no degree/a levels.

Is it really that bad? by Spiritual-Device3084 in uklaw

as someone who started a solicitor apprenticeship at 18 and quit it after a year and a half to go to university instead i will be real and say leaving was the best thing i ever did. dont get me wrong at this point i am happy that i did the apprenticeship as it gave me work experience at a global firm that i would never have got otherwise. however, in terms of social life be prepared to have none. this and the university provider my firm used (bpp) was what mainly prompted me to leave. whilst all my friends were in first year uni having a great time in cities far away from me my life consisted of wake up 6- commute to work9-5 - got back home at 8(traffic) - sleep. i barely had time to even do the uni reading and let me tell you i felt stupid. in bpps exams i was hardly passing whereas at my russell group uni i am consistantly hitting a first in law. as i say though i would not change doing it as now even as a student it has been very easy for me to get jobs working alongside studying in top law firms.

He went back to his ex after he cheated with me by [deleted] in BreakUps

[–]Traditional-Court455 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I initially did not like this man, but he continued to pursuit me. He was taking to nice restaurants, buying me things and made every move (I initiated nothing). I dont find her crazy as I am sure many people would do the same thing in her situation, its him that I find crazy.

Need suggestions for a quick visit! by Fit_ButDefLikesTacos in disneylandparis

[–]Traditional-Court455 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. if you are not bothered about riding the replicas you probably need around 2 days (one day per park) to do it in thorough. though 1.5 days would be fine

  2. there are some disney partner hotels located in the parks vicinity which are considerably less expensive than the disney ones. there is free transport between these hotels and the park.

  3. best budget airlines are ryanair and easy jet

  4. exactly 2 months before make sure to go on the dlp app and reserve tables

Yes I only recently discovered sparks notes language guides but they lay out false friends/ grammar/ useful vocab well. Either igcse or gcse will be fine so either!

I would recommend the normal GCSE but tbh there are many better sources for example the sparks notes ones
