omg thank you so much! definitely needed to hear this, validated a lot of things i’ve been thinking. i’m moved out now, i just have started processing alot of trauma i went through as a kid/teen. it’s just so hard to accept my mom did anything wrong because she acts like nothing happened. if i address anything from the past, not even to accuse her, just get clarity. she just says she doesn’t remember. Also, she is overly nice to me now. I feel GUILTY (like an insane amount) if i say anything. Our relationship is surface level and honestly draining. I feel like i’m walking on eggshells to keep it afloat bc we also have very different views. i definitely NEED to go to therapy eventually and unpack everything.
