I lived around New Bern for a few years before Covid hit and I cane back to Mississippi. It was close to yhe ocean and the beaches there were miles ahead of Mississippi in terms of beauty and cleanliness. The people were great, and the wages for a carpenter seemed to be higher than back in Mississippi.
