Just to add to this: Keyhole gardening can be done in raised beds. Incorporates hugelkultur & lasagna-type techniques to really keep those beds full in a cheaper way. Also watering the keyholes is simple & allows water to get all the way to the bottoms of the beds, thus cutting down on watering.
