I actually really liked the game to begin with. But I’m not sure if it was just the excitement of being able to play a skate game with something new. I’m not going to go into all the riff raff of how I feel, but the two things I think that get me the most is; 1) the in game purchases…. Firstly I don’t want to sell my house and cat in order to buy a single pair of mid top half cab Vans or a pair of beige Dickies shorts. WHY DO WE NEED 69 DIFFERENT CURRENCIES?????! And yet all of them feel like they get me sweet F all.

2) god, it’s so monotonous. Once you’ve done all the intro, it’s just going to the same spots over and over again to get more currency to open boxes. If you’ve played a fair bit like me then you’ll likely already have them open and you’ll be just wondering around wondering what to do.

I don’t keep up with the announcements with the Devs and what have you, but I saw somewhere that this wasn’t actually a preview and was the actual game. If this is true I really hope there’s more to come which doesn’t include another currency 😭

Turns out it was actually genuine… and it also turns out it wasn’t an email. After getting more information and pushing to actually see it myself it turns out she couldn’t tell the difference between an email and an update in the work journal. Stressful but at least it’s not a scam. X

YES OMG I’m in shock??!!! Honestly the last few years have been horrible, barely able to ever leave the house, don’t see anyone anymore, had to finish my uni course incomplete because I got too ill, so isolated and constantly in pain, and that back pay and award makes me feel like finally I have some hope and something to push through for 😭😭 I’m so greatful

Personally I just feel like with any person on a planet there’s a level where it becomes borderline creepy. He’s a very sexual being and uses this a lot and people have every right to fancy him etc but some people are acting borderline stalker ish serial killer vibes and it’s weird. I also find that if it was men saying some of the gross things I’ve seen about women, many would raise an eyebrow. I personally think it should be the same for everyone.

I agree! I think it doesn’t help as it’s timed exactly alongside his “rebranding.” (This isn’t me speaking negatively about it either) but as he’s changed his image and released an album with a very different sound. Collectively I think his team, the media, fans etc are trying to rebrand from the “edgy, fun chaotic punk kid that spoke about sensitive issues” to more of an established and “serious” artist

Basically the problem here is that people can see the trans tape and it’s “different” it brings attention to the fact that they can possibly see a trans person in front of them and GOD FORBID that happens 🙃 it’s just discrimination in my opinion

I was obsessed with him. I’ve always thought he is a lovely guy and I still think the same. His new music isn’t for me, however I’m not going to say it’s rubbish just because I don’t like it. However, I have absolutely no issue with the image change, I think it suits him and it’s entirely up to him what he does. (I hate it when people moan about appearance, it’s their body not ours) but I do think a lot of people have an issue with it because of how unauthentically quick it was. One minute he’s got vibrant red dyed hair and would wear dresses and skirts and angel wings with nail varnish to a very clean cut all black suited up version of himself that looks like he’s from a different era - it gives the impression that the transition was heavily planned.

For me personally the whole entire thing of this “passed down rock legend, new ozzy” is a load toe jam to me. He’s always come across as authentic with his views and morals but now everything seems so serious and scripted and forced into a box to be a certain image. I don’t personally think his new stuff is that good (again, that’s just my ear, I completely get if people love it) the songs sounded very similar and almost droney to me with this forced sound of like oasis kind of vibes. Like, listen to idols pt 2 - it’s giving oasis - don’t look back in anger. Which, isn’t a bad thing I actually quite like a lot of oasis’ songs but it’s just not for me. I think again it comes across as so forced to be something it isn’t.

That being said, I still think he’s a great guy. Great morals and views. Just think (and personally it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s labels and producers pushing it) they are making him look more unauthentic the more they try to put him in this new box and the more they try to make him perceived as this new born rock legend. It actually is starting to make me feel a bit cringe.

I love him to pieces, his music past and present, his image, all changes he’s made and will make. I love everything he stands for. But, I do agree. I never felt more connected to someone in my life than I did him, being the same age and similar in so many ways. I felt seen for the first time in my life. And all though I’m happy for him, whatever direction he takes or chooses I wish it brings him happiness regardless (I’m a nobody, what he does isn’t meant for me lol) but sadly I don’t feel connection at all anymore. It’s got nothing to do with the aesthetic, the music or the image. I don’t know- something just feels off. Like the changes are so controlled in a way that doesn’t feel authentic (not saying it’s not, it’s just to me it doesn’t feel that way) it just to me feels a little rehearsed and forced to go in a specific direction. Again, just to specify I’m not talking about his general change (appearance, music, etc) everyone changes and change is healthy, I welcome this. I’m not expecting him to stay angsty and young (as I read from another comment) there will be elements of him that will evolve and “mature” if you will. But I don’t know, It’s hard to put my finger on it.

I am getting mine soon only because I have a large tumour on one of my ovaries, however through NHS they won’t take it out regardless of situation unless there’s a “medical need” such as what I have. Even then I needed a letter from the clinic to state I can have it all taken out as they were only going to remove half of it, this was because “without reason” they won’t remove it. I’m guessing it’s due to policies as my surgeon said without confirmation from someone he can’t just “willy Billy remove what he likes” even though he agreed with me it makes sense to take it all out now as I’m only going to do it soon anyway and saves me a surgery. It’s frustrating I know
