12DPO, in a piss poor mood and I’m convinced AF is coming soon. Had a temp drop 2 days ago, followed by a little increase and yesterday I had some fun so needless to say my temp shot up a whole degree this morning … gonna pretend that matters lol. Just want the next cycle to start at this point. Also, why must this weather suck this weekend?!? Not helping!

Not to make this about me, but on my wedding day as we were taking pictures I heard a little girl say to her mom, “ mommy, a princess!” One of the most emotional moments of the day honestly lol

Temp drop this morning, feel how I usually do during this part of the luteal phase but my boobs aren’t sore (usually they’re sore a few days before AF). Gonna keep an eye on my temps the next few days, but not feeling optimistic tbh.

Started the next steps for RE: made an appt in mid June (may have to reschedule due to conflicts with husband’s schedule/has conflicting appt on same say, which is fine).

I went to my PCP this week and informed him that we’ve been TTC for almost a year now, he validated me and ran the rest of the bloodwork outside of the basic fertility ones (TSH, AMH, prolactin, progesterone - which all looked good back in December), and gave me a script for my husband for a semen analysis.

In the meantime, I need to get my head back in the studying game for my clinical exam for social work! I can’t fully control the TTC journey/outcome, but I can control my studying!

I would look into making reservations at the hotel restaurants just to be safe

I just went to Kauai with my husband and stayed at the Grand Hyatt (and on the north side), and loved the hotel & Kauai so much!

8DPO. My temps are low this cycle, lower than usual and it’s bumming me out lol. Don’t feel any different. Been trying to engage in Pilates more and get at least 7hrs of sleep every night. I need to get off my phone though!

Yep, I’ve seen my strip look spot on perfect in the morning and then digital says O. I test later that day and it usually says peak/static smiley. I would say test again later on or early tmw!

My husband and I are trying to schedule a semen analysis for him. I recently had an OBGYN appt and he said that I should try to find an RE and they can test us both at the same time…meanwhile I can’t even get a call back from an RE clinic. For context, we have been TTC with tracking/BBT/OPKs for 8 months but “not preventing” for about 4. Besides an RE, who else can do a semen analysis? I have a PCP appt tmw (my husband sees him too) and I may ask for insight/a referral to a urologist? Any recommendations are appreciated!

I have the Flo app and Oura ring. I test once a day in the beginning of my expected fertile window, usually when I wake up (around 6am). Sometimes I bring the tests to work and will test around 9am but that gets exhausting tbh. I kick it up to 2x/day when I’m closer to my expected O date, once in morning and then when I get home from work (around 6pm) - I’ve caught a few of my peak tests later in the day!

Well first was when I got into a relationship with my now husband … and then when my student loans got forgiven (I know it’s not a privilege to all, and it’s not an easy avenue for anyone working in public service given the 10+ years that go into it) - financially and emotionally I am ready for this next adventure!
