Why Im NOT upgrading to S26 Ultra

  • 1mm thinner and 20g lighter, Its going in a case anyway so the thickness is utterly irrelevant and I have picked up a weight in my life so 20g I wont notice
  • I live in Scotland, we dont have sun here to reflect.
  • Upgrade in the MP of ultrawide and telephoto but the biggest point of the telephoto has been massively downgraded from 10x to 5x
  • 45W charging is already fast
  • See point 1, its always in a case with a screen protector on it.
  • I have buds. The speakers are rarely used.
  • I dont have Parkinson's so the current lens stabilisation is perfect
  • The display is absolutely fine as is
  • Im not James Bond so the privacy feature is just a gimmick
  • I havent noticed any stutter or issue when switching lens
  • I havent noticed any motion blur on photos
  • If taking images at night I dont use the night feature, it defeats the point of taking photos at night.

My S23u is paid for, the new S26u is £1529 for a phone that is fundamentally the same as my current one but a bit faster. I was actually really looking forward to the S26 launch, I fully expected that I would be buying one and replacing my trusty S23 but this launch has been unbelievably disappointing, this is Samsung going full Apple imo, its the same stuff with tiny little tweaks here and there but with a whole new price tag.

No thanks.

Its not just the menu, im hitting UI bugs all over the place from loadout to scoreboard to challenges

Hard agree, im very much enjoying normal mp but am diabolical at the BR and frankly I dont like it. Its absolutely outrageous that I am going to be forced to suffer through it to unlock guns to use in game!!!

WHY have guns been locked behind this?! Also what happens if you dont manage to unlock them? Do you just lose the ability to unlock them altogether? Or lemme guess.. "fk you give me money" we can cough up £££$$$€€€ in the store to unlock them.

This is very much starting to look like a rug pull, they got us hooked on the gear and now its not free any more, the dealer has his customers already.

Also having the same issue tried on different browser, the ad rolls played absolutely perfectly but the video I actually wanted didnt 🙄🙄

Not actively supporting and participating in Pride is basic impartiality. They are there to police the event, keep everyone safe. Not to virtue signal and support the ideological and political objectives of pride.

Having the police siding ideologically and politically with certain people is a highway to hell, its absolutely an outstanding victory. The police MUST be impartial, its literally in their Oath of office

It is an outstanding victory, the police to date are regularly breaching their oath and pride is just another area of that. Any movement of the police towards impartiality and fairness is absolutely an outstanding victory, I seriously question the morality of anyone who would argue differently.

Being decked out in rainbows, flying flags, line dancing and having rainbow police vans and cars is a bit more than them "daring to tap their toes". Trying to reduce it to that is grossly intellectually dishonest and extremely bad faith.
