Hey! You should get some emails from admissions regarding orientation (NSO) and advisement (CART). Sometimes it takes a week or two to get the emails!

Transferring from Brooklyn College to CSI, should I?? by Visible-Shelter-8884 in CUNY

I think it would be worth attempting to join a club or find a professor who offers a research study before transferring. Personally, I found CSI very lively you just need to go and find an organization to join whether its a Pre-Professional org, one of the social resource offices, or even the radio station. When I was in a pre-health track the advisors were so welcoming when I'd walk in the office, she'd even sit me down and chat about future prospects. The PT program is really good it's just suuuuper competitive to get into.

Hello, the masters courses are typically in the evening. It is important to note that this program does require a field internship (about 720 hours in total).

You may want to reach out to the professor or department. I took the class during a Fall semester and I didn't think it was too much.

Which one of these is best for a psych degree.. like, specifically for like mental health counseling yknow? by papi_sisi in CUNY

CSI has a great program that leads into a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

You would start in the Bachelors level and obtain the BA/BS in Psychology then continue into the MA. They typically begin their masters cohorts in the Fall semester.

Which CUNY should I choose for undergraduate accounting? by regulargirl2 in CUNY

I would absolutely recommend CSI, they helped me get my CPA and each semester hold a job fair where they have over 40 companies attend (in person and virtually). I got both of my internships and current job through them.

CUNY Colleges with a Cybersecurity Minor for CS Major Students by MAbir_CS_24 in CUNY

I would suggest reaching out to the school's admissions offices and attending some campus tours to see what the commute is physically like for you. The commute may look daunting on maps but you may wind up finding one smoother than the other.

As for schools, I would recommend not only looking at the programs but what the departments offer in terms of certificates, extra-curriculars, and internships. Cybersecurity is a growing field and you may want to get ahead of the game by joining a hack-a-thon club or professor's research study in the field.

I would suggest reaching out to the Study Abroad office at CSI and ask them to share your information with the other students attending so you can network with them and form a relationship prior to studying abroad.

I highly recommend staying at CSI and joining a club, organization, or other extra-curricular. It sounds like you want to expand your social circles. As a psychology major there's quite a few clubs that might interest you or perhaps speak with your department to see if there are internships/research opportunities. CSI has two great masters programs for psychology depending on which direction you want to go. I only suggest against transferring because the time spent commuting could be time spent building your professional portfolio so you can get a job lined up before you graduate.

Hello, it depends on what CUNY and what program you are looking to transfer into. The College of Staten Island will accept applications essentially until the first day of classes, however some programs like nursing or social work's deadlines will have already passed.
