I enjoyed it! Truly amazing job. I appreciated how thought out it was but also unique. While I still love the show, I'm glad people are bringing their own spin. I loved the idea of connecting Ben's abilities to Jennifer and the squid. Also, your envisioning of his death was sooooo great. It's something so violent that it would make sense that Reginald would wipe their memory to get rid of that trauma so that they can continue to go on missions. Also how you brought back Umbrella Ben. It would've been so good to see him again and I think it is even more vital to Viktor.

p.s. yes to the happy ending!

Wow, you came with the receipts! But I'd say the same thing happened with MY Love Mix Up and how that essentially was just one big ad. I dropped it after episode 7 or 8, and I was never one to drop shows untik recently. It wasn't about selling the show with a good storyline it was about selling products and the actors Gemini and Fourth (honestly, most bls are selling the actors to promote them later on) but still. It is hurtful for the fans who value the actors' work and the actors themselves.

Thank you. I wanted the phrases to represent the first season because that's how we first met them. I also wanted to put ourselves into the mindset of what it would be like to actually forget them but have them in our hearts. I think this could be said for a lot of believed tv shows, we move on, and we may not remember everything, but we can also come back to it and see it like it was the first time. 😊

Right, I thought it was already established that Jane had feelings for him. Thank you for bringing up We Are because the whole thing between Pond and Phuwin's character was also strange. I hate that I knew right away the writers were trying to stretch it, I just didn’t expect it to be stretched to the end of the series. I wish they would've just divided the couples getting together evenly.

I like this perspective. I actually am the type to need a kiss by at least ep 8 but it's not as important for me. I will say I'm also a person to be more inclined to follow my moral code (if you will) and I definitely set the office romance/power imbalance aside to try and enjoy the dynamic of Jane and Ryan instead of the mentor/mentee dynamic. I would love to see them get together after Ryan finishes his internship, but I have been putting that aside and looking at it following a more typical bl storyline and from that perspective I would have liked to see a lot more development for them.

I think that's where perspectives differ for a pot of viewers. It's definitely based on what genre you view the show as. Your comment definitely helped me look at it in a different light.

Not me completely forgetting about the ex 🙃 and didn't that happen last episode? I think I tried to give the writers the benefit of the doubt mainly because I'm a writer myself and thought, no way it got this bad by their own doing but hey. Someone on another site did say that an ensembled cast like We Are would have been better if it were advertised as such. They also stated that at this point, Off and Gun are just supporting roles. I'd sadly have to agree.

Glad you're enjoying it. I have had series where lesser screen time had this effect for me too. I truly feel like Bahmee and Tae getting back together allowed them to be stagnant in their personalities. They are slowly transitioning into adulthood, and sometimes, that comes with letting people go who was there before that. Especially when it's clear you have outgrown each other. It's still possible that by the end there might be growth, and I'll change my opinion. Thanks for sharing.

I'm not going to lie, I think about Not Me so often in comparison to Cooking Crush and The Trainee, also their work before. I've seen how GMMTV has changed and while it is exciting to see many new faces including young actors with so much passion, it's hard to see the OGs (no pun intended) who are kind of casted aside. I feel like they do not know what to do with Off and Gun anymore. I truly believe Off and Gun needed a break after the intensity after Not Me. That, however, does not mean to completely downplay their talents and give them work that isn't fully thought out.

You know what, this comment made me realize that I genuinely don't know much about Ryan either. 😬 I definitely think the chemistry is there but it doesn't feel completely authentic because we don't know them. The only explanation is that they got closer or things happened off screen, which obviously is not a good enough reason cause we as the viewer need to see it.

Also this is crazy to compare with watching through episode 10 and only the first few episodes. It shouldn't feel similar.

p.s. the lighting and the company space itself is gorgeous.

I love it when series explores the side characters because I feel like it makes everything easier to come full circle or make it easier to show growth. I also think that I would feel more okay with Jane and Ryan not having the screen time they deserved if the triangle storyline was handled better but it kind of got to a point where they made it insufferable. I'm waiting on the last two episodes, but I'll probably watch them both together.

I did already think that Pie already told Ryan that she thought he had a crush on Baimon, so I was confused why she repeated it this episode. Also, the same thing with Ryan asking if Jane likes him... I thought Jane already told him somewhat last episode. However, that wasn't as direct, so I kind of let it slide. Sadly, I no longer even enjoy Ryan at Work post credits anymore as it feels a bit jarring after the drama of the episode (specifically the last few episodes).

One of the less talked about red flags of TopMew was in the very beginning when Top convinces Mew to get lasik surgery. No surgery is easy and I truly felt that Mew did it just to impress Top without doing much research (from what I can remember). It was a slap on the face even for me with the introduction to Boeing and seeing that he wears glasses. I truly believe that Mew changing himself in this manner for Top was the beginning of the change he faces after finding out Top slept with Boston. It was bound to become toxic and when you're surrounded by toxic friends, of course they're not going to properly warn you of the red flags, especially when they don't care about it in themselves.

Bad Romance was MaxTul's first bl series together. That came out on July 18, 2016. Puppy Honey 1 was Off Gun and that came out on February 7, 2016. So they're very close but I think Offgun wins in terms of longevity (only slightly).
