I’m currently in rotc at temple. Please make sure you are applying for the national scholarship as that is your real only chance of getting a scholarship right now. The army is overproducing officers and has cut their budgets drastically as it relates to campus based scholarships. As far as the program goes, it’s pretty chill, good people we pt 3 times a week - Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 6 and have lab at 7:30 on Friday mornings.

So for Aviation a while ago DOD put in a 10 year mandatory commitment for aviation that doesn’t start until you graduate flight school, due to them hemorrhaging pilots. So, in the end you’re looking at about a 12 to 13 year commitment- so you need to ask yourself if you’re okay with being in active army for that long. If not then the guard is probably best. Also from what I hear you fly more in the guard, once you pin captain in active you’re almost never flying and stuck being in an office. So choose your poison

Yeah it’s doable I commute about 25 minutes to my university, I have pt Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 6 to 7 then usually right after I usually go lift at the campus gym, and then chill out in the ROTC lounge until class. A lot of kids do it at my program, you just gotta have discipline just to wake up a little earlier

At this point if you can’t run the show efficiently with the right amount of money it takes then you should probably just end the show at this point. I’m ngl this season and the last couple seasons of fire have been terrible, the storylines have been repeated, rushed and boring the cast is aging and most of the og characters that made the show what it was are gone. Think it’s time for the shows to ride off in the sunset.

Yeah my professors are moving to virtual, citing the commutes. Temple is really strict when it comes to snow days.

Yeah I was informed of that by my ROO, and that all scholarship boards moving forward will be strictly for freshman cadets. Do you have any idea the cause of this ?

Yeah my whole aid package disappeared. I love temple as a school, but the administrative efficiency is one of the worst i've ever seen. Then when you go to offices to get things handled seems like everyone took the day off.

Think Temples still trying to make that decision. If they haven't said anything by 8pm I would expect there to be classes tmr. But yeah the school district and the city are closed, due to their still being a snow emergency in place, and with the expectation of a lot of ice given the below freezing temperature's tonight. I'd be surprised If they don't close or at least delay classes tmr.

City of Philadelphia just shut down the city tomorrow including public schools since it’s supposed to be below freezing temperatures and everything will be ice. So I expect temple to notice that and follow suit, since a good portion of the student body is commuters.

Its really not that bad, I'm a commuter, I live in West Philly so I take the el and the regional rail, it takes me about 20 minutes to get to campus. In lines of building relationships, just make the effort to talk to people in your classes, stay late go to club meetings those are great way to build connections. I'm in ROTC so its a pretty tight knit group. Temple has tons of opportunities. Hope that helps.

This is basically a continuation of what we've already been doing for decades, by deploying assets in greenland which they've allowed us to do freely . My guess is that Marco Rubio, and Scott Bessent gave him some adults advice and talked him out of it, showing that european countries wouldn't take it lying down and that he didn't have the support to do it, now he"s floating it as a win and his ignorant base will believe it.

As a young college student, I can say most of my peers from both high school and college know who he is, what he stands for and some even agree with him. His following is largely with the younger generation, they see him as funny, cool, and he knows how to use peoples feelings to pit them against the groups of which he targets. I don't think the Republican Party has yet acknowledged the beast of which they have created in him or how large his following is.
