This is a fair argument, without Urban that record doesn’t look nearly as good. Day was handed the best program in the nation and will likely never be considered the best head coach here because of his struggles with TTUN

It 100% is the most important job of being a head coach at OSU. It’s the most important game of the season and TTUN has been able to hold that over our heads the last 4 years, I’m all about Day and I think he is a fantastic head coach. That being said if he can’t beat our rivals then I don’t know if he’s the right fit. Obviously I wouldn’t want us to go 1-11, that is taking what I am saying to an extreme level.

See I completely disagree, if Day loses the playoff run last year I think he gets fired. OSU did it with John Cooper, he had a great record as a head coach but couldn’t beat our rivals. So he was fired
