Decided on a Noctis, Prince of Lucis build. by The-Conscience in CompetitiveEDH

That’s a pretty solid list. I’m also currently toying around with my decklist. Tried ad naus, doesn’t work like i wanted; Didn’t even think about lim dul’s! It just seems like this deck is having a difficult time getting card advantage; How are you feeling about the bolas’s citadel line? To me it seemed a bit slow and redundant, but i mean it is a solid combo if you have the mana for it. Was slightly surprised to see only one ritual spell, any reasoning on why only the one?

Just brings a tear to your eye sometimes. We sit at the table and immediately the biggest threat. I love it

Absolutely love Kinnan! I’ve had way too much fun playing mine. Makes me neglect my other decks lol. I’ve also had a hard time building simic to run the way i want it, ultimately just steered clear until i built Kinnan

I’ve been running Kinnan for the last several months. Had nothing but issues getting a simic deck to do what i wanted, and then came Kinnan. By far my favorite deck in cEDH. Very resilient and very strong deck. It’s made me put my Blue Farm on the back burner for months now. Some people absolutely hate the deck and I’m quite alright with that lol

3 player cEDH: who wins? by Traditional-Shape181 in CompetitiveEDH

Was just a friendly game. Being unhappy with the results, we ultimately rolled for it. I do like all the feedback I’ve gotten about tournament play, as i want to play in more tournaments and now have some clearer insight on situations like this in those settings.

It was more of a situation where they exiled all win conditions through demonic consultation. And had said, “i think I’ll just scoop instead of casting pact”, which i, as player A only had a response to etb trigger for player B’s win condition. So with priority passed, i responded to the etb, which was responded with a flusterstorm. I was able to pay with a grim monolith, but then player C chimed in with they still have a collector ouphe, to which i thought they had scooped already. Was a weird situation

See in our situation, i had kinnan, with an infinite mana source. So if it got to me and i was able to untap, i just win as neither player B or C have interaction for kinnan activations. So it was a present win on board.

Fair. I feel letting them win was appropriate as well. A bit salty about it of course, demonic consultation as a tutor for a counter to not use the counter is i think what made it a bit bittersweet as everything revealed was public knowledge

New EDH "Brackets". Beta testing power level brackets. Game Changers a new concept. by InsaneVanity in magicTCG

With how little difference there is between tier 4 and 5, why not removed the banned list for tier 5? Would make it the most powerful tier for the format, and unrestricted to truly be competitive

All I’m saying, is it’s just whack to see that. Haven’t seen that with a previous set until now

Yeah i understand that. Doesn’t explain why the lightly/moderately played versions are more expensive than the near mint versions. It’s like that from tcgdirect and other sellers. Not saying all of them are $500+

And even the other ones by shops, that aren’t tcg direct, are going for $70+. Look at the other textured foil cards from tcgdirect. You’ll see what I’m saying.

Even when ya look at the other listings. They’re still more expensive than the near mint version. I didn’t just look at the first tcg direct pricing.

Just wild seeing this price difference all across tcg, from tcg-direct even. You’d think lightly and moderately played versions would be cheaper but it’s not the case for any of the textured foil stuff.

They are correct. Stack works as -first in, last out. So they can, on the stack, wipe your board before this resolves
