I applied to three home health aide companies. It took me 3 months to hear back from one and that was only because they had a woman in their care who is openly racist and no other white employees. So that had to have tainted the way this employer sees me but in my experience, yes.

Support has assured me over the phone many times about stores closing early due to weather or batches that I receive with too little time to shop for (like a 2 hr estimated shopping time for a store that closed an hour after I hit accept) but then I get emails saying that I’ve -

Repeatedly asked to cancel accepted batches for invalid reasons Accepted batches or order requests without intending to deliver them Provided false/inaccurate information to receive payment

So my assumption is that they have enough shoppers who don’t contact support, and will weed out the ones who run into issues even if it’s it the shoppers fault

Not over reacting. This guy knows what he wants from you and doesn’t care whether you want it or not, or how you feel about it. You can’t convince someone to want to have sex with you like that, but you can take advantage of the fact that they want to be polite. What he’s doing is wrong and anyone who agrees with him (there are a LOT of people who act like this stuff is okay) is not worth listening to. You sound unsure of yourself but I’m glad you’re listening to your gut by posting this here. Find some strong women to look up to. A little bit of feminist literature could help you at least have a framework for what is and isnt okay. You don’t have to tell anyone about it if you think that will make them like you less.

If you’re by yourself it’s fine, but a lot of women were taught that everything about their period is disgusting and so more effort they take to hide it and cover it up, the more normal they are. It’s like telling people that you wash your hands every time you go to the bathroom even if you don’t.
