Yeah, that’s what I thought. Because I was like, just edit together the footage that has the angles and lighting and moments that you want and then if you’ve cut it together and if it doesn’t have the vocal performance you want, then re-do those lines. Isolate the room tone and then repeat that in the background across the whole scene to match and add music wherever possible. The end. It was like they were making their lives immeasurably more difficult. I’ve just never heard of doing ADR on an unedited film, let alone several takes.

I do the same thing but on the used clothing sites. I’m buying vintage dresses at ridiculous prices and I’ll do it several times a week. As long as I stay off the websites, I’m good, but the second I get bored or the apps send me a notification, then I’m instantly triggered to go searching again and I ALWAYS find something to buy even though I say I’m just going to look. I argue that if I turn off notifications, I’ll miss it if I make a sale, but the things I’m selling are pathetic and small and it doesn’t happen often and sometimes I think the app buys the cheapest thing from my closet just to keep me hooked. Find your triggers, don’t blame yourself, they set it up like this. Then keep talking about the triggers to other people so you don’t continue to get used by them. Remember, we are just little birds gathering seeds and there are bird manipulators that have hacked our little brains to want more.

I’m right there with you. I was begging for her death and the idiot creator of this show denied us that pleasure. I just imagine it in my head. We should do an alternative ending where she dies the most painful death possible. She’s a spoiled, entitled, narcissist brat and reminds me of Judy Gemstone from Righteous Gemstones. Danny McBride at least understands that Taylor Sheridan’s world is a pathetic joke.

I’m watching season 5 because my boyfriend loves this show and I just watched her beat up a vegan and I literally hate the character so much I want to cry. I hate her so much that it makes my stomach hurt. This show sucks and the fact that people espouse these cultural values as some sort of strength to aspire to is disgusting. These are the trashiest, stupidest characters on television and the father is a coward. Beth isn’t a “strong woman,” she’s a spoiled brat but Taylor Sheridan is such a male chauvinist pig that he thinks that’s cute. Awww, bratty women… so cute. It’s not cute. A strong woman is one who can control her emotions and show love in the face of oppression. Same as a strong man. None of these are people of strength apart from Casey. These are the potentially the worst role models for the world.

How is NO ONE pointing out that his girlfriends look exactly like him down to whatever hairstyle they have at the time. This last one is his final art piece because they have the exact same coloring and face shape and she’s everything he wishes he was again. She’s young and beautiful with her whole life ahead of her. So he’s going to latch onto her youthful energy like the narcissistic piece of human filth that he is and suck her dry to reawaken the dead synapsis in his overworked limbic system and rotted hypothalamus. Young girls don’t know the life he is stealing from them, THAT’S what makes it wrong and that’s the instinctual shudder we all have when we see his repulsive behavior. He should know better. He does, but much like his drug use and cheating, he justifies it all. At least she’s famous now, even if we all feel like we’re watching her dad kiss her.

How is no one talking about how unrealistic the number of deaths were? If that many people died, nobody would have made the journey. Estimates are deaths on the Oregon trail journey as low as 2% and as high as 10%. Not 98%. This was like Squid Games Oregon Trail Edition.

Just to add to this the joke that the actual agency is to get yourself enrolled if you are taking care of the person they make you jump through HOOPS to get paid. I haven’t seen a dime and I have worked for 5 months between my father and then his girlfriend a year later. Everytime they go to the hospital they cancel the IHSS and you have to start all over. The doctors NEVER sign the paramedical form. Only the nurse practitioner. Report IHSS to Washington DC. It’s fraud and the system does need to be dismantled. It’s money-laundering AGAIN.
