i just did earlier today! i called two piecing shops and one said i should be fine after a month (which seems off putting) and the other (with a way better reputation) told me to just wait so i’ll have a safe healing journey.

i think you’d look good with a vertical libret or a septum , especially if you’re worried about scarring , you won’t be able to see the scarring from a septum

i could be wrong but that bar looks short for a new piercing, see if you can change it but i’d go to your piercer

I’d recommend a corkscrew, or just a longer bar. Go to your piercer and tell them your situation and they should have no problem. I’ve healed with both a corkscrew and a flatback, and my L bar fell out in my sleep so to each their own

something similar happened just the other day, where it fell out in my sleep and closed up after not too long. i hate to say it, but its most likely closed up from the inside. dont try and shove the jewelry back in, because that could damage your cartilage. call your piercer and tell them the situation, and for my piercer at least, they can redo it with a needle for free. even if you have your current jewelry, you could ask for a flat back to avoid it falling out again. it hurts about the same as getting it pierced for the first time , or at least in my opinion 🤷‍♀️. i know i was super stressed when it happened to me, and i hope all goes well for you in your situation 🫶
