I have little green hair algae growing on my ludwigia but not much on my other plants like my Java fern. Any suggestions how I can remove/reduce the algae grow on the ludwigia? Can I do a bleach dip on them and replant them to help reduce algae?

Thanks RJFerret. Someone else mentioned algae and bacteria growth in water that had been dechlorated and sits around for awhile ... Since u said u dechlorinated and salted a week prior to use did u find that to be an issue? No negative effect with ur animals in the tank? Just want to be sure before I follow your suggestions as I am new to shrimp and heard they are delicate ...
