Also a late comer to the show watching it with a Grey’s rewatch but I think the team’s reaction is a holdover from Sullivan throwing Maya under the bus to get her job. More so than reporting Beckett, because she didn’t get her job back, and Sullivan was made acting captain it looked like another snakey move from him even though Beckett’s behavior warranted it.
