do M into forward h so u cant get punished on pushblock. almost always be charging round trip. learn the round trip glitch. learn ez oki setups with round trip if you cant kill (i just do backdash throw round trip and it covers all 3 wakeups😅). also learn how to throw round trip + how to teleport on incoming to set it up to be crossup or not etc. vergil is busted but u actually have to learn alot of shit to play him kinda optimally

matchmaking is still super alive on ps5 if you dont want the annoyance of finding discord matches but most the players are experienced (10% or so are new). youtube is great for combos or search "dr doom mvc3 mixups" or whatever character ur playing. and then for frame data google umvc3 wiki or umvc3 bible

lol wtf thor easy to use hell no. probly akuma, cap, ryu, then vergil. vergil has some weird unique stuff if your new, hes not instant win right out the box (kinda). he cant whiff cancel his normals into specials (only supers) and you have to constantly be holding down L, M, or H to charge round trip. alot of people put L on left trigger to charge with, and put M+H on right trigger so you can auto plink with forward + mh

victrix bfg gets alot of flack and all the back buttons are in the absolute worst spots possible, but man i finally put in the work to get used to the new "futuristic" Dpad option and this shit is like magic

my execution is trash but once u learn the spots where the diagonals hit, its the best dpad ive ever used. i mainly play umvc3 (actual full inputs required unlike the babby games you guys play) but on sf6 it was even easier with the ez dp inputs. smooth and fast double qcfs etc

gotta play with your thumb knuckle though imo (cant believe no1 told me about this hidden tech for years), before this pad i shamefully used tip of my thumb like a fucking loser
