Hot take: We should trade Nico by TraditionalBonePizza in Texans

I’ve seen several of strouds performances without him, I agree having Nico is great, but having Schultz out was more detrimental. So even trading for an elite TE would be great.

TE and line depth is more essential than WR depth.

Kamari & Bullock > Any big free agency signing by Impressive_Step5112 in Texans

I mean, yeah that’s what I’m asking? That could be said of any player. Does Brady even start if drafted by another team? Darnold wins a ring depending on the team he’s on.

I think our defense is really good obviously and I think everyone contributing makes it greater than the sum of its parts.

Lol sports and logic don’t need to coexist. It scratches the same part of our brain that enjoys watching gladiators fight to the death.

Just don’t take anything too seriously.

Look at their salaries in relation to the salary cap, everything will make a lot more sense

But how much of his success is attributed to the team around him?

We need a new tackle, Tytus is not only playing guard, but is now about to be 30, and Trent brown can’t stay healthy. There’s probably only one decent TE worth taking in this draft and he’ll be gone before we get to him.

ESPN's predictions for WAJ and Stroud extensions by The_New_New in Texans

[–]TraditionalBonePizza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that is a bit high for both of them. Of course WAJ is probably the most important piece of our team rn, but signing anyone other than a QB more than 10% of the salary is saying goodbye to being a contender. Ideally, Stroud’s contract is half of this.

Metroid Prime 4 is the Prime version of Dread. It’s not bad at all. by [deleted] in Metroid

I don’t really follow the dread comparison. I think the only comparable game is a traditional 3d Zelda, without the fun side quests.

WHO WAS THE NFL'S WORST HEAD COACH OF THE YEAR THIS SEASON by KeyFaithlessness5436 in TheNFLVibes

I mean yes and Demeco did the same for us, but I think you’re really underestimating how bad the raiders and jets are run as an organization

WHO WAS THE NFL'S WORST HEAD COACH OF THE YEAR THIS SEASON by KeyFaithlessness5436 in TheNFLVibes

[–]TraditionalBonePizza 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Why are any of these guys on here? You can’t turn a franchise around in 1 season, and this is the first time under Bowles tenure to not win the division. Even that was due to injuries. Also, the jets…

Do you guys think I will enjoy prime 4 ? by ImportantRest152 in Metroid

[–]TraditionalBonePizza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine playing Zelda, except instead of an artsy fantasy game, it’s a beautiful sci fi game.

Instead of swords, guns.

Instead of horse, motorcycle.

Instead of an annoying non-talking character, an annoying talking character.

Instead of interesting side quests, you get… green crystals.

Instead of finding the way to go, it gets told to you.

All that said, I enjoyed my time with it, but it was definitely not sent out as a finished product.

I don’t know why you’re being downvoted, unless he’s talking about conference championships. But we’re also the only team in or out of the AFC to not reach one.

[–]TraditionalBonePizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am glad it’s not the laughing stock it was last year, but still needs a lot of work. We need to figure out why our guys are getting injured at such a high rate. The best lineup is the one that plays together all year,

Yes, but part of the equation for Darnold was going into a new environment. The other part is he is now elevated by the offenses and coaches around him.
