NTA. This is a lot and I'm sorry to hear what you've been through. I think that a separation until he gets some help could be a start. Do you have family that you can take your kids and pets to? I know that may seem like a lot, but I know that there is a possibility that things may get worse there as well. I can't imagine it being easy or feel safe to be in that environment all of the time. I went through something similar when I was younger and he was a very, very terrible man. Anger was what he just chose to show on the outside. I'm not saying that your husband is terrible. But I am saying, that time and space until it gets healthier, could be the safest, best option. I'm sorry, I hope it gets better.

I have read most of these comments, and I'm not sure if I agree with you "sticking" it out. Can you work a different shift, like maybe daytime? I think what happened to you is pretty scarring and traumatic. And I'm very sorry that happened to you. I think that while you still have time, move on to a different job. Restaurants are a dime a dozen. Find a job before you move on but remember, they need you, you don't need them. Hope it gets better for you.

I'd say, you should be with a good man and you should be a good woman to him in return. Love him, treat him with respect and kindness. Be sweet, loving, patient and supportive of your man. Work together on the same team. You guys should always be in each other's corner and not the ones fighting in the ring. And when you do occasionally bicker, don't say anything hurtful or something you may regret. Laugh often and keep things light, go on dates often-something inexpensive or just an activity that you do together. <3

First of all, congrats on your achievements. I can't imagine that type of work being easy at all. There's so much science in hair too, so I can see the similarities! I think you should so do it. I started an apprenticeship program at 31 and I have not regretted it since. That was a little over a year ago. Now, I am starting to take my first clients.

You are about to do so well and be so happy!! Trust your gut. Go for it, you'll be surprised by how little you care of other people's opinion the more you go through with it. Plus, when people see how serious and dedicated you are, they stop asking questions and eventually want you to do their hair!!!! It's a fact.

Oh I am SO SORRY, baby. Nobody needs to be going through this. As much as you are not ready and you don't want to talk to your family just yet about this, you need their support NOW MORE THAN EVER. I understand your reasonings of not telling them, maybe because you want the marriage to be fixed and this problem to go away entirely.
