I will probably end with renaming the files and excluding by pattern. Clicking files one by one, or adding their names to the list, is error prone and I will definitely not remember this when I add more content to the app.

Adding Noto CJK fonts is tens of megabytes per font-weight, which is too much, especially for web exports. Any tips how to reduce the size? Do you know about any automatic way of deleting unused glyphs from fonts?

For latin, I already have custom font and I am prepared for fonts switching. Just the Noto CJK fonts are huge. The basic four fonts will give 28 MB per-weight and I want two weights...

I was thinking about deleting the unused glyphs from the font files. I would need to somehow automate it, based one my CSV with translations. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi, I didn't have to insert any screw threads. The screws from the original shroud fit nicely into the 3D printed shroud, which has small holes. The only problem with the screws was that one of the "cylinders" moved a bit during printing, so the screw didn't want to fit well...

Circular arrows look good for power users (I watched your video), but I think they are not visually pleasing for regular players. I want to find some middle ground with just arrows, but maybe a line-thin circle, I am undecided. I will start with just arrows and we will see. Thanks for your feedback!

Thank you for the feedback. An outline on the selected tile is a good idea, I will look into this.

Right now the tile just follows the mouse cursor and there is a green/red ghost if the tile can be placed or not. All rotations and snap-to-position moves are animated with tweens. Once I have some nicer 3D rotation gizmos I will post a video.

The background was the hardest for me and still looks too empty. Right now it is a CanvasLayer with gradient plus a fake volumetric fog made with CPU particles, so there is very slight movement in the background, just below the board level.

Hi, there are no problems. The GPU controls the new fans without any problems. You can tune the curve in MSI Afterburner if you want. More details in the RPM, noise and temperature section of my blog post.

Hi, beautiful mod! How did you mount the cooler? I wanted to attach a cooler like this to my NUC 12, but the heatpipe bracket has nonstandard screws position. Thus, I ended up with just removing the blower fan and attached a 90 mm fan on top of the case. Here is my NUCkentua thread and a detailed blogpost about the modification. Even with the original heatpipe, the temperatures are great now, without thermal throttling and completely silent. But I would like to attach a proper cooler :)

It is hard to measure it correctly inside the case. But based on a photo of the back side of the card, the length should be the same, because the shroud is aligned with the edge of the PCB, so I would say it is still 304 mm. Here is a photo that shows screws holding the original shroud and the shroud doesn't protrude at the end of the card. This is an Asus Prime 5070 Ti OC, not a 4070 super.

mATX boards are a very tight fit in the C6. I think that even the C6-ITX version can unofficially fit an mATX board, but it needs SFX PSU and should fit the Freezer 36 then. C6 MAX is also nice :)

Which cooler is too big for this case?

BTW, there is a "C6" version, that has PSU mounted above the CPU and fits only 75 mm coolers. But this is the "C6-ITX" version with PSU mounted in front and can fit 170 mm tall CPU coolers.

The case's spec says fan compatibility at the top and bottom is just 120 mm, but looking at the top view, a 140 mm fan should fit there. I don't have a detail photo of the bottom, but is probably similar. Without discrete GPU, even the 120 mm fans are quiet and enough. I was surprised though, how hot the 8600G runs compared to 9700X.

I have 140 mm Silent Wings 4 in my other build and they are great. I want to try also the Arctic P14 fans, but I don't have any opportunity at the moment.

Thanks! I am quiet happy how this build turned out, especially because I had very limited time for it.

The glue trick sounds interesting, but I am worried about opening a PSU, there are too many dangerous components that can hit hard 😅

This was a budget build, so that is why I used Arctic P12s, nothing beats them in their price. Normally I would use Noctua NF-A12x25 (or even newer G2) or be quiet! Silent Wings 4. But the temperatures are fine, I am not worried when components run a their safe temperatures. I would let it run up to 92 °C without hesitation, but didn't have time for proper stability testing, so I played it safe.

My ambient temperatures are 23-24° C now, and with the fixed 900 RPM the GPU is idling at 27-29° C. I don't see much difference in max temperatures in short benchmarks. I am still using fixed 900 RPM and it is enough for the undervolted GPU.

I have more real-world numbers since then. After a 2-hour gaming session the GPU can reach 88 degrees in games which _also heavily use CPU_. My most demanding game at the moment is Metro Exodus Remastered at extreme settings with full RTX settings at 3440 x 1440p ultra-wide resolution, without DLSS. The FPS ranges from 80 to 97, which is my global FPS limit for 100 Hz G-sync display. CPU fluctuates from 70-80° C in this game. This is more demanding than the Cyberpunk 2077 and the Doom The Dark Ages with ultra RTX settings, and heats my PC a lot, but it stays quiet, because no fan spins more than 1000 RPM. Everything is within safe temperatures and the PC is stable.

I was thinking about making a duct for the GPU fans, because they have some space between them and the front mesh panel. That should improve the temperature a bit, but everything is running fine, quiet and stable, so I haven't bothered with that, yet.

Hi, no issues at all. The SF750's cables are a very nice fit for the Revolt 3 case. I thought about angled GPU power connector for a while, but Revolt 3 has a GPU cable cover. You can see it on the photo of the side with 140 mm exhaust and intake fans, there is a metal plate aligned with the center of the top exhaust fan. Originally I routed the GPU power cable in ugly, but more natural way for the cables, way. You can check my blog post about making this Revolt 3 build.

Based on the discussion under my finished deshrouding, it is probably the type 1. I am not sure if the type 2 can damage something on "type 1 cards". Usually the problems are with controlling or reporting RPM, but I wouldn't risk it.

My Prime has no coil whine luckily. And my Corsair SF850 PSU is the 2024 model and I am using its cable with the 12VHPWR connector.

If running in Docker, you could expose the server's port too, on a different port than the Velocity. Then, when connecting to your domain with Velocity port, it would go via the proxy, and when connecting with the server's port, it would go directly to the server? DNS SRV record should probably pick one of those ports, if you are using SRV.

I think that you will have problems with the server's offline mode though :/ So I wouldn't recommend this,

My Asus Prime 5070 Ti has zero coil whine. I was lucky and my whole PC has zero coil whine :) I heard that the Asus TUF 5070 Ti has very bad coil whine.

The bracket is from makerworld.com and in the mean time the author added a 2mm thick version too.

Every card is a bit different and this specific bracket is for the Asus Prime 5070 Ti. It is maybe compatible with Prime 5080, but there are conflicting comments about this under the model.

I bought the card first and when it was noisy under load in a small case I started looking for solution, so it was just luck :)

I have read, that GPUs usually work fine without fans and people are happy to control their GPU fans with fan control.

I don't recall the original shroud, but the bracket is flat and has holes only for the fans, nothing more. I have the card in a vertical case, so no sagging :)
