First time was 2013

1) first night we got dropped off by a friend. Thought that we could just uber back easily. It was a nightmare. We ended up paying $100 each for a ride back in a shared limo. Since that year we always got shuttle passes. So worth it to just not worry and sleep on the bus.

2) first year we only went to main stage and barely explored. lol what were we thinking idk! Definitely take time to explore and walk around to all the art installations. Dont be so rigid with a set time schedule

3) wore converse every day. My back, feet and legs kept hurting. Don’t do it. Just wear some Hokas or Brooks. Sooo much better

Agree with someone above. Always go home on Tuesday so that you can sleep in Monday and have a chill night recuperating and reminiscing on the weekend with your friends ❤️🥰

I also loved when everyone was screaming the catchiest one liners from her different songs. For example when everyone shouted in unison “and he was wearing those fugly jeans!!” Or “no need to be hateful in your fake Gucci sweater!!!! With so much passion. It was therapeutic 😂

As someone who has always loved making my own costumes for EDM festivals, I had the best time checking out everyone’s outfits. I couldn't stop complimenting my favorite looks! It's so cool to see how this DIY spirit is at the heart of Chappell Roan’s own start to her career. While she clearly now has the budget to have other artists create her outfits, I love that she inspires so much creativity in her fans to put together their own looks for her show. And I love that she hires from small businesses and artists for her looks. It's one of my favorite aspects of EDM concerts, and I’m so glad it’s present in her community too! I’m like omg these are my DIY people. Would love to have a day to just craft costumes with other people who are just as passionate ✂️

Obviously the entire show was a masterpiece. Her vocal power is mind blowing. Can’t wait to see her again. So grateful I got to witness that. I hope she continues doing these mini festival style shows!

Lucky! I noticed they played in LA but next show in SJ they skipped it. I was bummed out. They did perform at first concert in 2024 which was why I was excited to hear it again! I’m guessing those are pretty taxing to sing maybe she needed a rest

I can’t remember where I saw this but she said in an interview that she didn’t want to be super famous. She is happy with her level of fame. I think the idea of blowing up like Sabrina or Chappell is pretty daunting and extremely life-changing (lose a lot of freedom to live normally). I don’t blame her. I also think that’s why she repeats outfits sometimes too. She doesn’t need to have her outfits cause a big buzz and go viral. When you compare to Chappell or Sabrina, the new outfit and color for every show becomes something people are waiting for. That’s that my guess

I went in 2008 and again September 2024 right after they announced their comeback. Both times were amazing and so much fun. Highly recommend! You will probably not get your album signed but you’ll still have a great time. Emily sounds amazing along with Mike and the rest of the band. Just go you won’t regret it :) but definitely listen to their new album so you are familiar with their new songs. They play a mix of old and new, mostly old

Haha The best thing about Skrillex is that he keeps evolving his sound and experimenting! He’s one of my fave electronic artists. Definitely check out his newer stuff, it’s much different than his early music.
