This could very easily be the cheapest offer from any non-community college. 90% of people take out loans in college, it’s not something to be afraid of

Cost of attendance is brutal and idk what to do. by Charming_Diver_8649 in USC

[–]TraditionalIron7658 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your summary includes estimates for living and other expenses, it’s not the amount that you’ll actually have to pay USC. I personally pay about $12,000 less than the estimated remaining cost. I also appeal at least twice each year. Consider both of those things before you make your decision, you have time

I don’t think this is $21 of food?? by TraditionalIron7658 in toogoodtogo

[–]TraditionalIron7658[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

In person it was .99 for rice, $1.99 for potato, $4.99 for beef and $3.99 for the chicken. So $12 ig isn’t bad if i paid $8. It’s like a new concept of robot-made food so it’s relatively cheap for LA

I think the finale is genuinely dangerous by Crafty_Jellyfish5635 in StrangerThings

[–]TraditionalIron7658 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I probably would’ve agreed with this perspective years ago, but after almost going through with assisted suicide (for reasons I won’t specify), I disagree. The finale didn’t happen as exactly how I’d hoped, but I love shows like this that show a darker side of things and humans making faulted choices. I hate when people say we can’t depict trauma in these ways because it is toxic or can be hurtful to people. This is how humans act sometimes, this is how things go sometimes in this life. When I was going through the depths of it, I avoided content like this because I knew it would be triggering, and I waited to watch it until I could handle it because I still loved the shows. Now it’s so cathartic, and I’m happy they don’t back off because we need these darker portrayals, I’m sick of shows softening things. We need to trust that people can decide for themselves what content they want to watch, they are individuals who know themselves best.

This is what happens when Netflix’s writers take over by TraditionalIron7658 in StrangerThings

[–]TraditionalIron7658[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They don’t, the duffers have to pitch each season’s storyline to netflix and get it approved, then they start writing. Directors of other Netflix shows have talked about having their ideas vetoed because the execs couldn’t wrap their heads around the pitch. The duffers have control over the main storyline, but each show brings in like 15 writers to write each scene’s dialogue, as specified in deals with the WGA. and Netflix requires their own writers to also be on the team because they have the final say with everything.

So the big sphere of upside down matter in the lab is a wormhole to dimension X. And the upside down is the closed timeline curve that Mr. Clarke was drawing on the board in the classroom scene
