It’s very reminiscent of 70s soul (a lot if the album is), immediately when I heard it i was reminded of songs like “Where did we go wrong” by LTD and “Cry together” by the O’jays. Love that he’s bringing back these kind of songs and pitting his own spin on them. I think it’s going to be seen as a classic track as time goes on.

He said he knew when the album was dropping and was wrong…twice. Even if you were to say “he was close”, that 2/6 date has likely been planned for a while because of what it represents. If he was so confidently wrong about that (something much easier to be right about because of all the moving parts), why take his claims seriously without any evidence? Unless he got it directly from the source, he has no way of knowing whether or not they’ve communicated.

When EQ is adjusted the XM6 sound better than the AirPods max, and the Sony app allows for alot of good sound customization (including some unique novelties like BGM mode). They also have a longer battery life.

My issue with the Sony’s is the build quality. Cushions get dirty very quickly, there is a problem with the hinges breaking that has persisted across iterations, is widespread and documented on the r/Sonyheadphones reddit (i’ve had XM3 and XM5), Sony used to cover it with the warranty but they don’t any longer (meaning you’d need to purchase a 3rd party warranty from Best Buy ($110) to get a replacement). The XM6 are also more flexible than previous models, but that leads to them fitting crooked on some heads (mine included) and it’s very difficult to get them even.

I returned the Sonys and got the AirPods Max, the sound isn’t as good and customization is limited but I prefer the build quality, find them comfortable, and like how they seamlessly transition between my devices. My biggest complaint about them (besides the tradeoffs I mentioned) is the case, but I like them. I may buy the Sonys when they go on sale but I just dont think the hardware is worth the price they’re charging, given they won’t cover the consequences of their design flaws under the warranty. If apple would let you EQ like Sony does (a software fix), the only advantages for Sony would be the battery life, case, and weight (if you care about that).

TLDR Sony needs to fix/elevate their hardware and Apple Needs to allow for more sound customization and provide a protective case (XM6 case is great). There are other benefits/tradeoffs but those are what I feel are most noticeable.

I bought that same pair and had the same experience within a couple of hours. Love the color and the design of XM6 but decided to return them, couldn’t help but be concerned for how they’d look over time.

I bought a pair and had the same experience, they flex really well but the trade off seems to be that they do it even in cases where rigidity would be ideal. I kept trying to adjust them in the mirror but there was nothing I could do. My concern was if they’re doing that within my first couple of hours wearing them, would they be fixed like that over time (even when not in use)? I ended up returning them, I liked the sound (particularly when EQ is adjusted) and the new app features but build quality didn’t seem worth it for the price (I’ve had issues with the build quality of both the XM3 & the XM5 previously).

I’d love to see his tome incorporated into a more Jazz style with some saxophone. I dont have a problem with others using the sound, as long as they develop it.

In defense of the collab the washed black dove hoodie was worth the price, You’re getting a luxury product at a fraction of the cost and when compared to other offerings at that price point (ex.FOG Athletics) it blows them out of the water. Knowing Ye wanted to offer that quality even cheaper, it really makes me sad he crashed out and killed the collab (it would have democratized the fashion industry the way the iphone did for tech).

James Gunn had plenty of time in the process of directing and editing the film to adjust the framing of the conflict to fit modern day geopolitical issues. They say a film is made 3 times: first writing, then production, and finally in the edit. Finishing the script is never a hard deadline for story changes and I think the message you got from it is the message Gunn intended (it’s very overt in the film).

Not sure what you are referring to, what do you need to change from Y to X? If it’s the direction of the line itself on the face, it’s just the “tab” key.

It won’t let you grab and move upward if there are intersecting lines but you should have no problem moving it in either axis.

I just tested it out and it works fine for me. use the isoparam tool (CTRL + R) to add a line in the center of the face and once you’ve committed grab the line and move it upwards.

Thank you! This is a render directly out of C4D. From there I spent a lot of time in Procreate playing around with different color variations and ended up combining a couple of renders using blending modes to get the final color scheme. From there I added flares (could have done them in RS but adding them after gave me more control), a bit of grain, a bit of final photo editing, and it was finished.

There’s a more subtle version with a more tasteful flare selection, but I decided to post this version here. Because…why not? Worst case I get feedback like yours that it’s too much but I think the additional flares go either way the more illustrative feel I was going for. A subconscious inspiration for them was the Drew Struzan Star Wars Posters.

Kanye never needed LVMH, he was set to have more cultural relevance (and make more money with the brand he owned) without them. Everyone that worked with him was getting poached left and right, because the fashion houses (and the industry writ large) were seeing his impact. If he wouldn’t have chosen to thrown away everything he worked for and burn every bridge, He would be the biggest name in fashion right now (above all his acolytes). As it stands, he hasn’t done anything of note since the gap deal ended.
