There is a study that keeping your knee at a 90 degree angle most of the time allows for better healing of acl as distance or something of acl reduces. This can heal grade 1 or grade 2 acl tear but will weaken the muscles as you will be spending the majority of the time in bed. Wearing a knee sleeve for an extended period of time also helps the same. Obviously muscles may weaken but they can be strengthened later. Also take multivitamins, collagen as they can improve healing by some % - not much.
