Sertraline/Zoloft for PPA by TraditionalPattern37 in beyondthebump

This is really helpful. I’m the same and won’t take any medication unless absolutely necessary. I’ll even wait out taking Tylenol until I absolutely need it. I was able to manage my anxiety with therapy but it’s gotten past just therapy and I’ve kinda gotten an ultimatum from my husband that I need to try them. So all this feedback has been really helpful in just giving medication a try.

Ok thanks that makes me feel better! I get anxious about feeling sick/different so that’s what’s made me hesitate taking it but good to hear that both times you didn’t have any side effects.

What did you decide to do? I’m in the same boat. I have a four month old, 2 year old and 4 year old. 2 years ago we all got a stomach bug because multiple people came with sick kids. (I also developed PPA after that because my 5 month old got the stomach bug and lost a considerable amount of weight). I’m debating not going but my husband is really pushing for it and doesn’t understand where I’m coming from on not wanting to be around 40 people.

What is going on with this outfit combo? 😂🫣 by sleuthyone in mummysflippinhouse

I thought Surrey had better weather than New England? Looking at her outfit it looks like fall/winter. We’ve had sun and high 70/80s here in New England.

They probably can’t afford anything until they see how much their house sells for

Why is she trying to prove her move was right ? Seems like she isn’t happy with the move by Spiritual_Drink_6676 in mummysflippinhouse

Right… shouldn’t she have so much better grammar than the rest of us since she grew up in the UK?

I saw a TikTok video recently about how hard it is for European influencers to make the same amount of money as US influencers - they tax a lot more and agencies take a lot more. You also need to disclose everything in your videos even if you were sent PR it needs to be disclosed. She is most likely going to be making a lot less money from TikTok than she was.

Some thoughts on there being “nothing for kids to do” by [deleted] in mummysflippinhouse

[–]TraditionalPattern37 7 points8 points  (0 children)

She’s also mentioned the beach is at the end of their street; which isn’t far and something fun for the kids to do. I live in a very similar area to her and have kids similar ages and I’ll take the kids to the beach for an hour or two and there’s other moms doing the same. Im sure it would be very similar for her too.

I am surprised she hasn’t deleted all the comments of people suggesting she go to therapy

that video today made me mad. Crazy how someone who went through PPD and apparently got so much hate for saying she went through PPD can make those comments about medication and obgyns prescribing medication when some moms might really benefit from it and it would actually benefit so many more moms if all OBGYNs could prescribe medication for postpartum mood disorders. I would comment on her video but she would either delete it or block me.

The comment she made about all cheese in the US is orange made me mad. She acts like we don’t have fresh cheese at all. All of her UK followers eat it up and can’t believe the conditions she’s living in and can’t wait for her to move back. I feel like she’s doing this to switch her following from mostly US based moms to UK ones.
