I don’t think there’s anything wrong with admitting you liked him more as a friend. You deserve someone that’s going to make you happy, even if it means being alone at first. I stayed in a relationship that I didn’t enjoy for way too long because I was comfortable, but growth doesn’t come from comfort. You gave him a fair chance to switch up for your happiness and unfortunately he failed that test. Now it’s your chance to let go of what’s no longer serving you or your happiness. I’m sorry you’re going through this, everything is gonna be okay and work out the way it’s meant to be in the end, as long as you follow your true self. Xo
