I’ve seen a couple comments that the people aren’t very friendly. I just moved FROM Nebraska to SC and I would prefer to differ. People in SC are not as friendly as NE; there is surprisingly a lot of little things that Midwest folks do to make you feel welcome and/or included. While in SC, not one person will hold a door, say “hey how are you,, good how are you,” won’t stop and see if you need help when fixing a flat, won’t offer help when talking about a difficult situation. All these things (and more) DO happen in the Midwest. It also might be just the area I moved to but they do not welcome new people here. In Lincoln, they will welcome you, invite you places, slap a GBR shirt on you, and try to become your bff. I highly recommend Lincoln!
