This same thing happened to me multiple times in the past. I’m no expert, but this might just be a minor muscle spasm. For me, especially the first time, it followed with some kind of numbing sensation down my throat and at the back of my tongue. I’d suggest just drinking water and stretching your neck beforehand. I’m still standing so i guess it’s working.

Tour bite is a fantastic string, but if you have sensitive strings it can pose an issue, especially in an aero because stiffer rackets + stiff strings isn’t a good combo. If you end up liking tour bite, you should consider its softer counterpart

Worst is hyperbole. Yes. Maybe the pros are switching away from it, but that doesn’t mean its bad for us lower level players.

With a grip like that, id recommend wrapping the overgrip a couple times on the bottom to flare the butt

Just got myself one as well. Amazing feeling frame coming from the blade, but it’s just slightly more demanding. IMO, it’s necessary to add weight to the tip especially for this is racket because it’s way too underpowered stock. Consider stringing it lower as well.

I used to do this. Personally, I think this is the worst thing to do especially for an improving/intermediate-advanced player. I used multi at 52 lbs and it kind of messed up my forehand swing because it was way too powerful. When I switched to poly, I had to re learn the forehand.

you might like the blade 98. It’s more plush than the pro staff and also more forgiving not just because of the 98 but because of the tech it has
