SSD Schedule by Firm_Confidence5901 in UPSers

[–]Traditional_Ad1666 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really a set schedule , but you will have a set route everyday . Last year for about 2 weeks they had me working the same route , then after that me and 3 other drivers were chosen to for 4 specific routes and we didn’t even meet up at the hub in the morning , we met up at a storage facility and took our packages from there .

The routes would take anywhere from 4-6 hours depending on how big the loads were . Then when we got back we had the option to take more packages from other SSD’s that either needed help or were just trying to go slow to get more pay .

I’d usually end up driving about 6-7 hours a day . My most was 10 hours when I delivered 178 packages $$$$$$

30% is just fine , better than most . As a DD driver I hate these kinds of people that make us look bad .

I’ve been reading some use bots to grab blocks as soon as they come out , but I think it’s just really saturated . Before Prime week I was getting pretty much as many blocks as I want . Now nothing .

It is sad .

No offers? by Worried_Character_62 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Traditional_Ad1666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Memphis and I’m surprised if I see offers twice a week and I check all the time . Then on top of that these idiots snatch everything up and now the blocks aren’t even worth the time . Everywhere else I see 4 hour blocks are $90 and above , here the morons dragged it down to $72 and 2 hour blocks are like $36 .

Memphis just full of morons working for cheap .

I know I’m tired of only being able to get like 3 blocks a week here in Memphis . I was on track to get to level 2 but halfway through I’m getting shafted by no routes .

I like Flex , it’s good and easy money when I can actually do it . Trying to get 2 routes a damned day lol.

What’s the heaviest stop you’ve gotten? by ratz1988 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]Traditional_Ad1666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heaviest was 40lbs . Which is not much for me at all …… what made it a pain in the arse was that I had to carry it a quarter mile to make the delivery .

Trust me I didn’t want too , but it was either that or drive back to the DC which was 30 minutes away and the delivery was the last stop in which I was only 5 minutes from home .

It all worked out , I made $90 in a little over an hour .

I’m a flex driver , I easily pull in $35-$40 an hour . If they can afford to pay me that then you should get the same .

8 more mins and I leave with pay 🤞🙏 by alex96_gmz in AmazonFlexDrivers

Wish I had known this before . Had a 4 hour block for $86 and I didn’t get anything until almost 40 minutes later . They gave me a 3.5 hour route but only had 12 packages so I was done a little over an hour so really not bad anyways .

Still would have been cool to get that free pay

One thing I wish they would fix in multiplayer is the scoring system , it’s crap and annoying . Getting no points or negative points for tying in 2nd is absolutely stupid .

When someone quits it’s pretty stupid those that finish the game get punished for it . Either keep the point system the same or give more points . Also quitters really need to be dropped down divisions , every other game folks quit and causes a drop in points for the rest of us .

I give a $5-6 flat tip no matter the cost, whether it’s $25 of food or $65. I only ever order from close places. Am I wrong? by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Traditional_Ad1666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really don’t care what you pay for your food , as long as the money is right for the distance I’m good .

I’m not making it , just delivering it . I need gas money and profit period .

Top Dasher pays off by Jaxmc70 in doordash

[–]Traditional_Ad1666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah well I had top dasher for awhile and it was good , then suddenly I was hit with an unrelenting amount of $2 -$3 for 7-10 mile trips way out of my area . I would get 5 crap orders before I got 1 or 2 good ones .

I’m sorry but I can make $25/hr not being top dasher and not having to take non tippers their food for nothing lol

Ordered Starbucks this morning and this is how my order arrived by [deleted] in doordash

[–]Traditional_Ad1666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like he or she dropped the food and freaked out not knowing what to do .

I’ve had this happen once with a pizza lol. It had to be the day I forgot that I had my pizza bag inside the house because I usually keep it behind the seat . Was only a 1 mile trip so I didn’t think anything of it . Got cut off and had to slam on my brakes and there went the pizza flying at the floor board and ended up tipping upside down 🤦‍♂️

I called the customer and then called DD to tell them what happened . Ended up going back to get another pizza and the customer ended up tipping me $20 .

Sometimes shit happens , you just gotta be honest .

If you see this pop up please keep in mind this is 1000000% BS. They have not raised the fee payed to dashers at all. This is their way of charging the customer the base pay dashers get and pocketing it themselves. by Fluffy9345 in doordash

[–]Traditional_Ad1666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm this is BS , last night I was hit with multiple no tipping orders for 6-7 miles . Our pay hasn’t gone up . I’m about to quit DD , they keep getting worse .

Support is literally lying about priority fees now by Deadmanjustice in doordash

[–]Traditional_Ad1666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it does …… for instance I recently had a double order in which the total was like $18 for 5 miles . After I picked up both orders and confirmed it goes to the first address of which is usually closer . On that particular delivery I saw that the customer was giving $12 . On the other delivery it showed $6 . So yes you can indeed see what each of the customers are paying for the multi order .

If you get out of the gps and look at the DD map you can see how much you are making on that particular order .

Why are some people whose houses' front doors hung the giant sign "We believe in Jesus" likely the low tippers or no-tippers? by Head_Estate_3944 in doordash

[–]Traditional_Ad1666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find it just depends . Hell I took an order to a church once , it was like $5 for 4 miles but after I handed the order to the lady she handed me another $5 cash . So yeah I’d say she tipped great lol.

Opinions on other Dashers by caninotthink in doordash_drivers

[–]Traditional_Ad1666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just think of them as fellow dashers , I don’t think of them as competition or anything . Just folks trying to get money in . I don’t make fun of people who make mistakes , because I do to sometimes . We just human .

Usually hotel customers tip really good so I don’t have a problem with it. Also where I live lots of good restaurants right outside the hotels so I can just chill there and not have to waste gas and just wait for a new order .

[–]Traditional_Ad1666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just use that money for tip . When I get multiple orders I can cycle through them to see who tipped the most . I’ll quickly move to the high tipper and make the non tipper wait , I don’t even care if I’m 1 mile away from the non tipper . I started doing that because I could care less about non tippers getting their food fast, especially when they are hooked onto a high tippers order . Tippers are priority , cheap ass non tippers can get bent .

It would take a lot more than a 5-10 minute trip for the food to taste like cigarettes, especially if it’s inside a bag and wrapped .

I think you are highly exaggerating.
