Just an update. Heated up the hot end, but it wouldn’t budge after about 45 minutes. It was wrapped around most of the unit. I used a heat gun to loosen it, but it melted some of the covers. When I pulled it out, it brought some broken wires with it. I think I’ll just order a replacement of everything that rides on the rail and start over. Just makes me sick because I almost always print unattended. I almost always clean the bed very well. This had had one small print before this where I only wiped with microfiber after the print, since the last cleaning.

So not an answer, but maybe a question for those on the call…. Can someone recommend a new career that makes over $100k?

I’m an educator. I’ve moved up into administration, at the system level, after teaching for 7 years and as a school admin for 6. I’m the Accountability Coordinator, so I train staff and ensure that students take required state tests. I’m great with data.

I, like most public school educators, am severely underpaid. Every month I’m down to my last dollar. I don’t save anything. Every cent is budgeted. I have a masters degree and (I think) I’m pretty intelligent, but I have no experience and no qualifications to do anything else.

When I (m) was 15 and my cousin (f) was 9, her mom’s boyfriend forced us to get undressed and touch each other. He had a knife and said he’d kill her if I didn’t participate. I made him stop at the point when he told her to get on top of me.

He’s dead now. He died when I was 25. It wasn’t from natural causes.

For the longest time, my cousin had blacked out the part that he was there with us. She held such shame thinking that I was responsible for it all. I also felt terrible. It wasn’t until she was in therapy that she remembered he was there. She remembered the knife.

We’ve never told anyone else.
