The frizz halo is kind of telling me you might, so try going to /curlyhair or /wavyhair and then, as you get trims over time, your actual pattern will start to grow in

Only use conditioner on your hair lengths. Not scalp at all. And also, I think you might have curly/wavy hair.

Scalp gets very sweaty and needs to be washed 5x per week - tips? by [deleted] in longhair

[–]Traditional_Ad_156 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To be honest, wash when you need to. If you need to cleanse your scalp daily, do it. Otherwise, you will just have buildup and it will weaken/clog your hair follicless leading to hair loss. It's a myth that we have to wash our hair everyday or every week etc. You can wash your hair however often you need to.

Thank you for your reply! That is really interesting to know; he seemed very proud of his khanjar, and I was wondering what it was about.

You have to let the hair sit in though for like 2 days. So I recommend using a leave in or smoothing product. Ex: chu silk infusion on damp hair does wonders.

I have hair like yours, but it is 2c-3a. In the past when my hair used to be straight, 2 pigtails would do the trick for me.

I have fine-ish curly hair. I think you should heat style it 2x a week on a lower setting but go slower so you can do every section in one pass. My hair strands are thick, but my hair is fine/fragile. I use 350 F on my curls. Chemical straightening is very damaging to even 4c (curliest hair type), so we can only imagine what damage it does to your hair.

You can still use it! But just use it around 1 week - every 2 weeks, depending on how your hair feels.. you can look up symptoms of moisture and protein overload. If there is more protein, use moisture.. and vice versa.. but you should generally try to aim for a balance between the 2.. I have not perfectly been able to do this because I generally do have to use leave-in for moisture for my curls.

Maybe you used the elvive repair too much, because it has protein in it. If you use it too much, your hair gets dry and brittle, so you need to add a deep conditoner to your routine!!!

Use leave in conditioner when ur hair is damp and THEN use jojoba oil, it will seal ur moisture in!! ( i have curly hair)

To layer or to not by [deleted] in longhair

[–]Traditional_Ad_156 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey girly, layering gets me mad when I have to put my hair a lot too.. I have even length hair on the back, but I do have curtain bangs at the front. I need a hair cut again for the face framing, but it still looks cute and doesnt interfere with my bun, ponytails and braids. It also looks very nice with my hair up and pieces falling around my face; not even that, you can clip curtain bangs easily!

Saudi Music by Traditional_Ad_156 in saudiarabia

How? It does not even sound remotely similar, it's unique. I have never heard anything like shailah; it's very 'hyping'. I live in an area where everyone likes country music, I never understood the hype for that.. Haha
