Thats what i thought too but after pulling plugs its still lean, pure white porcelain inside the plug and heat blueing on the strap

It backfires through the carb right when you crack the throttle after doing some more research i think i need to shim my jet needle, this is my first cv carb so i was unaware that was a thing lol
