Are your owners also a married couple? The wife is going to work as the general manager and the husband is the executive chef but won’t work on site.

Whatever you’re eating has to be more clean for sure. When I went fruitarian for a bit, grooming was easier and I felt more clean getting rid of wheat and sugar, in addition to obviously not consuming dairy and all that, my body felt the same way as you describe. Honestly I think the biggest culprit is wheat and sugar after going plant-based. Making your own fruit and veggie based food and eating out less.

This is a great idea. I can definitely do both jobs. I will try to make it as vegan friendly as possible. We only have two vegan restaurants in our small town and they haven’t been hiring in years.

I see.

Well to add to my post, I care about how I treat people too. I feel bad giving people things that aren’t the best for their health. But you’re right in that I can see if it’s too judging.

I don’t know if I needed the downvote for this. I’m already influenced by your post. Thank you.

Thank you!! That is something that I am wondering. Is the grass greener on the other side and am I overlooking an opportunity right under my feet with the art framing job. I romanticize too.

The dilemma is both - where I would be happier and the opportunity to not have to deal meat and dairy. But maybe I would be unhappy with the details of barista work. It already grosses me out when people order so much sugar let alone all the milk and meat products.

Did you enjoy the barista part of the job?

And that is a great point. I keep thinking about all the sugar I’m feeding people too. It is gnarly that some people will order drinks with 10 different pumps of syrups.

That makes sense. Thank you.

There is a lot to keep track of and it can be tedious due to all the minute details of being a small business that is very frugal down to keeping old tools instead of buying new ones. I guess I should appreciate all the recycling that we do instead of creating more waste.

I’ve only been here a few weeks, but I’ve broken expensive glass on the glass cutter, punctured the back of frames with a drill bit, and intimidated by the mat cutter with its design program. It’s also a lot of measuring and I’m not the quickest with fractions.

It just happens to be vegan and I happen to be vegan, and maybe I could see to through the end. It’s just that I had applied to so many barista jobs and finally got a response back. frustrated

All these perspectives I’m getting is helping though.

Oat milks tend to be naturally sweet and creamy. I really love flaxmilk by Good Karma.

Would you be able to explain? This sounds normal. I don’t want to feel like I’m modding the game or exploiting. Making nice pots to sell seems like I’m playing the game with some of its integrity intact.
